- The Mario & Luigi games have some of my favorite soundtracks, so I was excited to cover another tune from the series! This is also my first time collaborating remotely-I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

This is the more calming version
This song means indescribable amounts to me. I used to listen to it a lot after I graduated school, during the summer before college, walking up to a coffee shop near me. This perfectly captures everything that hearing the original for the first time, and on those walks, felt like for me. Never stop making music.

That track originates from an RPG. That track plays in a tourismheavy town, including the buildings inside so it also includes shops as well.
Really cool, that's my favorite Mario and Luigi game just because of the soundtrack, and this is a great cover.

words can not describe how good this is. the instrument palette choices were all perfect, everyone played so well, that slowdown was so clean, and it's overall just such a phenomenal vibe, i'm honestly in awe. always nice to find a hidden gem of a cover doing insane justice to a lesser appreciated Nintendo song!!

honestly this is phenomenal considering that dream team is one of my favorite soundtracks from any video game ever and I didn't find this until like 12 days ago from a compilation of songs similar to this one is astounding, there is so much effort and care put into this song and it is such a vibe, also the fact that you played an ocarina for this is so freaking cool just adds more to the Nintendo feel
I'm 2 years late but this is absolutely beautiful. You managed to make one of my favorite songs of all time into one of my favorite genres of music and you have my infinite respect.

Thanks, I’m glad you liked it! Unfortunately, licensing is really tough since Dream Team’s OST was never officially released outside of the game, so I probably won’t be able to post it on Spotify, at least for the foreseeable future.
@@mariocisemusic actually it was it can be seen on the year of luigi sound selection cd.
@@MKTVlakitu Yes, but as far as I can tell it was never released outside of Japan, so I can’t find it in any of the databases that would allow me to get a mechanical license for it. That said, I’m not an expert on the subject of licensing, so if you know of a way to get a mechanical license for this, I’m all ears!

I had this saved on my playlist from a long time ago and I've only rediscovered this now. This is such an AMAZING cover and it's of one of my favorite pieces from the M&L series. Fantastic contribution from each musician in this video, this cover is definitely in my top 5!

this was just fantastic! I love the bossa vibe, and absolutely incredible playing by all, especially how the sax and guitar traded off extended solos, that was such a nice surprise! The thought and care that went into this arrangement is clearly evident and came together beautifully, loved it!!!!

I'm so glad you could come back for this year's competition! You've done some absolutely amazing work here, producing a smooth and refined ensemble sound, and surrounding yourself with some masterful collaborators. Absolutely fantastic solos all round. You achieve a great deal of variety with the instrumentation while keeping the rhythm section cohesive, which is not trivial to accomplish. I wonder if the shift to a slower tempo with that syncopated synth line could be emphasised with more synth elements, so that part had some more electric company? The texture you have as is is really engaging, though, I wouldn't be inclined to muck with it! Bravo on such a polished and impressive track, please hit me up if you feel like getting an EWI on any of these sort of projects in the future :)
