- I'm back, and I'm returning with my biggest project to date!
This remix has been planned for a while now, and just as the summer came to an end, I felt like I was finally ready and my skills had advanced enough to do this song justice!
As I've learned from past attempts, remixing songs from the 3DS Mario&Luigi games is incredibly difficult, as attempts often end up sounding like the original, just a bit worse. After letting quite a few people listen to it and receiving a lot of feedback and implementing a lot of suggestions, I'm now confident this isn't the case here, making it ready for release!
Fun fact: As you may have noticed, the intro section is not from Sacred Somnom Woods! It's inspired by the song "Mechanical Kingdom", from the Radiant Historia soundtrack! I chose it simply because the tracks sound so similar, and were even composed by the same person, Yoko Shimomura!

I can see why most of Dream Team’s music is difficult to remix, but I am happy to see remixes whenever they do crop up.
The choirs and flutes are a nice touch to the atmosphere of a mystical, yet hazardous forest.
It makes for a great place to stroll, but you’re obviously not welcomed by the inhabitants and sacred guardians that protect the temple.

I seriously didn't notice the RH until seeing this comment. Like I thought "man such a beautiful intro.........OH SHIT" and then it transitioned straight into Somnom. Honestly perfect.

Mario Galaxy is my all time favorite series so to me it’s better, but somnom woods is so freaking good. The first time I heard it, I sat there listening in complete awe.

Yep, the melody in the intro is from Mechanical Kingdom! I love Radiant Historia and its soundtrack, and since the songs are from the same composer as Somnom Woods, it just ssemed like a perfect fit.

Bah.....not a fan of how this started off. By the time it hit the main melody, it sounded like a completely different piece. Then it didn't reference anything from the intro afterward. Not the best, in my opinion
