@Brendan just thought I'd give you a little update from your video, great video btw. When I set up my Google account after setting up my merchant account, it brought up a box right in Google ads, asking if I wanted to link my Google ads to my merchant account, which it had already found for me. I didn't need to go back to merchant account and link it to Google ads, it did this all from Google ads directly.

Great video! I just have a questions about audience signals. The issue I have is that I don't get the "custom segments" tab when creating an audience signal. I only have the "Audience name", "your data", "interests & detailed demographics", and "demographics" tabs. Do you possibly know why this has happened :)
I also run a Shopify store that's sales craft beer but unfortunately I can't run ads on google cuz in my country alcohol ristricted to sell on Google. I wish there was a way for me to do it.

Nice tutorial, but I have a few problems and not sure if its because this video is quite a few months old. In the audience signal section - I can't find a way to make a "Custom Segment", there is no option. There is only "Your Data" and "Interest & detailed demographics". I tried using this to make a segment anyway but I was confused with google's demographics on the side - it says its 72% male audience.. for skincare? Never heard of that before. Facebook gives me complete opposite statistics. Kinda confused. I tried making a custom segment through the audience manager and that worked fine, but I can't select it through the Pmax asset section. Audience section is just blank. Also, when creating assets per product, are we selecting the specific product at the top of the asset section? You mentioned that you were making one for the soap, but you left it on "All products", so wasn't sure if that was supposed to be left as is. Thank you

I also offer services like laser engraving and laser cutting. Just as background info. My main goal for now is to get much more traffic to my website. No one is finding me yet despite my products all having the Seo info (thanks to one of your other videos).
Hello Unidine, I work as a online marketeer and saw your comment, thought i'd help you out ;) The reason you make different catogories is because your audience maybe be different for each product. When you make different catogries its easier for google to find customers.

Does anyone else have the same problem as me, where all images are just loading endlessly and they show up white? I mean yeah, i do have a really bad internet connection, but this is ridiculous. If it was THAT bad, i wouldn't even be able to watch UA-cam videos. These are just images... Also, the ad review doesn't load either. So i can't publish it if i don't even know how it looks like.

Brendan - if we are installing the Simprosys Google Shopping Feed app do we then need to delete the Google & UA-cam app on shopify?
No you should keep that app for the GA4 tracking, but remove the Google merchant centre connection

There is much more customisation that you can do in the feed app to optimise your product listing in Google

It doesn't matter which account you use. I personally prefer to use the professional account so it's all under one banner.. but that's not mandatory

You can run without warming up, just the retargeting may not work so well.
It's with adding GA4 to your site, then adding that as an Audience as well
