making tonight after kickboxing, i make all ur stuff hope u dont think im annoying haha kids love ur stuff, ive tagged u on twitter and insta thanks for these awesome recipes
I made these today the minute I saw this recipe!!!! They are oh my goodness good! I used dates, oats, vanilla almond butter, maple syrup, chia, hempseeds, chopped pecans, coconut, 1 tablespoon of vegan protein powder, 1 tablespoon of Cacao powder and drizzled blackberry jam and more peanut butter on top. They are heavenly!!!
Hello Maddie, I've tried your recipe but I had substitutes few ingredients. I've made trail mix granola bars using rolled oats, maryam dates (a little bit dry compare to medjool, I guess? So, I added like 2 tbsp of water for 1 cup of dates & works wonderfully!), peanut butter, honey, almond, prunes, pumpkin seeds, raisins, cocoa powder, chocolate chips & butterscotch chips. I didn't use puffed rice because I prefer crispy granola bars. Yeah.. I know it is too much. Haha. This is the first time I made homemade granola bars. Most of the granola bars recipe in UA-cam only using like 4-5 ingredients. I'm afraid if using less ingredients will taste plain. Since the oats are almost no taste at all. But, yours.. woah! Heavenly heaven! So many things added. Thanks for giving the idea of this trail mix! I love it. Its taste like Snickers. I stored them in a fridge, much more crunchy. ps: I made this as a birthday present for my boyfriend. Of course, I want it to turn out 'sweet'! So sweet until his heart melts! & He loves it. Haha. Sorry, if so many grammatical error. I'm not a native speaker. Greetings from Malaysia. :)
I make these all the time...If you put coconut oil on your hands it makes the mixing a lot easier....Rolling them into balls is also convenient...Love the recipes
This recipe is outstanding, I made these for my husband to take to work, we keep ours in the freezer and pull out when ready to eat. I did not do the pb&j one just the original, so tasty, satisfying and easy to make. Keep those recipes coming. Trying your donuts tomorrow.
This is my first time ever commenting on any UA-cam video. Just wanted to say I made the trail mix (with added coconut) version of these tonight and they are so good!
I made the base and just added chocolate chips. It was delicious and very filling. I ate one right before my kickboxing class, and it was the perfect pre-workout snack. Thanks so much!
My Sister went Gluten free and she would love for me to do the same.. No doubt that such a change is major.. yet, yum! Your bars and watching you make them.. brings me to want to make them as well.. and even more so.. eat them.. thank you Xo
Hi MaddieI just finished the Trail mix bars recipe. Didn't have cranberries, but I substituted chocolate chips with cacao nibs instead. They taste amazing. Thanks for the video.
thank you so mu check for this video!!!! my son has autism and is on the gluten-free & casein-free diet, and I'm allergic to nuts, so buying store bought is super difficult! we aren't vegan, but im able to use all of your recipes to cut out the casein from his diet... SUPER EXCITED to make these!
GrowingUpGantt I'm gluten free too but oats have a protein in them similar to gluten so I try to avoid them. even the so called gluten free oats affect me because of this protein. it sucks because I love oats.
Next time I'm going to follow the recipe -- I looked at this recipe and another one (Domestic Geek) that had less date ratio versus oats. Since I was doing all this work, I wanted to get a higher yield. I made something like: 4 cups oats/rice crispy, 3 cups dates, 1.5 cups peanut butter. I knew it wasn't as gooey as these two keep saying it is, but I was able to press it into my pan and it felt decent. Out the freezer and nope, crumbly. still edible of course, might try using what I have with some other additives to see if I can get actual bars.
🤗 those look so FANTASTIC! Delish. For sure. I'm envious. I've been wanting an awesome granola bar recipe. This is perfect! Thank you! I'm so hungry right now!
i just want to say that this is by far the BEST granola bar recipe everrr.😍 ive made this recipe so made times (in fact i just made some right now lol) and it’s one of the recipes i actually make A LOT .. thank you maddie!!!!!!!💗💗
This recipe is great, a perfect afternoon snack, thanks for posting it! I was looking for a recipe with medjool dates to use instead of sugar. I made only one kind, peanut butter and chocolate chips, and added cashews and chia seeds. So. Darn. Good! 😍
o. m. g. these bars are LIFE. they are so dang good!😍 (i'm currently making them for like the 3rd or 4th time as we're speaking ! haha) honestly if your not sure weather to try these.. DO IT. they are so good. i swear.✨
I loved this video, will definitely be trying this. and adding my own twists! if you wet your hands before mixing the sticky doughy mixture, it should stop sticking so much. lots of love.

It’s a great recipe but I would add a bit less maple syrup or skip the step because It turned out a bit too sweet for my taste. But it’s good! Thanks Maddie
Awesome! haha I don't know about that one. I don't really see the point of trying to shove my body full of a ton of food it doesn't need! I don't even think I could make it past 5000 cals in one day!
You two are toooo cute! The bars look soooo good! And I love your music because it has a groove from the black exploration movie era the 70's😎 I'll look below to see who the artist is.
