I don't think people realize how smart it was of this business to do this. Free publicity on a large UA-cam audience. A customer or two who doesn't like it is far outweighed by those who do and not to mention the new customers at the cost of laughter.
There are lots of businesses that put signs up that say if you are an influencer or UA-camr and you want things for free you pay double the price. A local business owner does not get more cliënts being shown on a UA-camr account with lots of people in other states or even countrries. Local businesses get local customers. If I want coffee I am not going to the town next to me to get coffee just because I saw it on UA-cam video.

He pays for it so that he isn't persuaded to have a bias review. Even though he has admitted recently that he wont give damning reviews because he doesn't want to see someone fail but if he does give a review (even though his reach is nationwide) the business will be packed the next day.
I just loved the cafe lady (the real employee), she was about to cry when you gave a 1000 dollar tip. She was so kind with a smile even after you took her tip jar from the counter. So good to see her again in the background on this video.

I did landscaping for the owners of the ziggis chain, and the original ziggis is in my hometown. Truly the best coffee. Starbucks is no competition and the employees at every location are truly great. I have never had a bad experience with anything involving ziggis so if you see one coming up in your town please support them. It's crazy seeing them pop up everywhere in other states now. Even done landscaping for several other franchise owners within ziggis because they loved the company I worked for and they gave us enough free drinks for a week. Again. Best coffee hands down.
This is awesome! Please do this exact prank in NY or Jersey and compare with these Arizona customers. These customers would have smiled and thanked you if you crapped in their drink. I don't think the average northeasterner would have been so tolerant. As a native New Yorker living in Utah I'm constantly surprised how passive people are in the west compared to back east.
