I'm Japanese but to be honest I barely listen to and do not like Japanese songs....ONLY BTS Japanese songs (not Japanese ver.) Melodies are just so beautiful.
rapper line did a great job, the vocal line literally shines a lot in this song. the song shows off their capabilities, particularly for head voice and falsetto. It’s not surprising that Jungkook would compose a melody that uses that high range, since he often uses his head voice and falsetto which is really hard and he always do it so effortlessly and perfectly. i really loved the song, lyrics and everything about it is just so beautiful.
I don't see JK openly goes high...he does most adlibs and yes they are high..But high pitch vocalist and powerful vocalist Jimin and Jin goes really high bcz they open up most of the time...And we love Jk's ideal poppy and mellow voice within low and mid range that is something every pop vocalist admire of him..and there is no talk about V..we can listen his voice all day and we know that...In this song all 4 of them did really really great...and of course an amazing credit goes to our producer kooky😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Jin belted those notes ( not in falsetto !!) both the times absolutely blowing me away , alongwith Jungkook doing that adlib and the harmony at the end . V , despite being unwell did a great job , also to count the fact that he is a baritone and still hits those notes . Jimin sounded angelic as always . The rapline wrote their own verses and added a rhythmic element to the flow of the song . This song has been written and composed by Jungkook . Also gotta say that this is the best and fairest line distribution that I've seen in any of their songs ! Kudos to JK ! I don't know why, but their Japanese songs seem to be some of my favorite, this and Film Out are gorgeously sang and the harmonies are soo good.. Jungkook strikes again! Writing those great soundtrack songs. I love them when it just them stripped down to the vocal also. Blue and Grey another great vocal song. I do love the bops and the dancing. But this is my jam! 💜

That's why they can get so much power when they're singing high, they are not closing down part of their larynx to get the sound, they are moving their larynx higher within the throat to produce the high notes.
