So why did you pit then? I was relegated for not "hanging" my bike - seat was about to fall off, so I had to ride 2nd bike. Did you get an advantage by pitting?

The pit lane had less mud and was, at that point, faster than the course line. My B bike had a 42/18 and I was riding a 42/19. The pit lane was definitely faster, but I also dismounted and remounted, just like I do for a new bike - except, I didn’t get a new bike so I was still riding my heavy, muddy bike. The rule should be clarified atmo

@@caseyhildebrandt Casey, I agree with you, as long as you get off and remount you should not have been relegated. I was under the impression the rules clearly stated that.
