Mind blown by Kagemusha being Shinai's son. It makes sense. Also, it's not just the hair. If you look at the skin on Shinai's arms, it's almost exactly the same as Kagemusha in his Blue Flame art. I also don't think Shien's Scheme is the reason for Shinai's death but more likely Legendary Shi En's second effect. This makes it way more direct and personal
I had always thought there kagemusha was the betrayer because of his resemblance to Akechi Mitsuhide. Now I will never see my 6 samurai deck the same way again.
I mean, Tenkabito Shien looks like most, if not all, pop culture representations of Nobunaga... (also, Nitwit Outwit might be a reference to the battle at Okehazama)
It's same different story. There is a story that says mitsuhide betrayed nobu because he couldn't stand nobu's tyranny anymore. Shien's betrayal of killing Shinai is an adaptation to Nobunaga killing Nagamasa Azai, his own brother in law. Which means, mizuho was Shien's sister. The similarity stops at how Shien met his demise. The reason and the real culprit behind the rebellion are not known. Seeing how kagemusha ended up replacing shien, I feel like toyotomi hideyoshi is a more fitting base for kagemusha than mitsuhide. Hideyoshi also started as mere servant for Nobunaga after all. But well, kagemusha wears the same necklace that mizuho and shinai wore. As he looks younger than Shien, he might be Shinai's little brother, or maybe Shinai's son with Mizuho.
@@noodletornado309 guns has a basis for his speculation. Given weight by the fact that Kagemusha was backed by Shien's personal friends. Strictly speaking it was a betrayal either way, but we're debating the motives.

11:46 Wait a minute... Shinai never died! Shinai survived Tenkabito's Scheme all along. He is the master death-defier after all (they never found the body). And ever since Shinai survived the Scheme, he had to go into hiding until he could find his wife Mizuho to reveal the whole truth! And that fateful night, perhaps both Tenkabito and Shinai killed each other simultaneously, so that's why both their Spirits exist. They were Evenly Matched, after all. Maybe the XYZ monster Shien is actually a fusion between the bodies of Shien and Shinai after leaving their spirits behind in their respective armors. After all, the XYZ monster has Shien's name and Shien's purple cloak, yet he has Shinai's red hair and necklace. Also, its summoning requires the merging of 2 evenly leveled Six Sam monsters.
