Sydney kingfish with Matty Reid

Being a charter operator is a tough gig. Being a charter operator in one of the most fished locations in Australia is damn near mission impossible. Matty Reid from Raptor Charters in Sydney not only rocks this job, he also seriously loves it. I totally agree!. I lived in the very far Northern Canadian Arctic for 13 years ( up in the Canadian province called " Nunavut & also Northwest Territories. The places I lived were from 150 to 2000 people. If you look at a map of either province - you will see there are thousands of lakes. I literally went out fishing on lakes and in the ocean ( in Summer on ocean) - and caught thousands of fish, and absolute monsters. It was fishing heaven. Now back in Sydney - I am just now looking to retire and most likely move to Daintree - get a massive boat and fish the Reef, and do trip to Derby and the Coral Coast etc. I am going to purchase a cuddy custom, that can take me to some of the best Kimberley spots, and also to the outer Barrier Reef.
