I know its been 4 years, but this video is a live safer. I inherited this exact sewing machine from my grandmother, who sadly can not show me how to thread it anymore. Thanks to you i got at least ⅓ of it figured out. I still just cant find out, how to thread the upper to needles. Maybe you could show this too? Much love from Germany
Please don’t ever remove this video! Every once in a while when I don’t get my thread tied on to the previous color I have to find this video. It’s saved me much frustration several times!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you SO MUCH! I have had this machine for years, and when it is properly threaded and the tensions perfectly set, it stitches PERFECT stitches! However, getting that looper threaded has been SUPER FRUSTRATING! The diagrams on the machine and in the manual for the looper are very vague - especially around step 9. You did an excellent job at showing and explaining that horizontal crossover of the thread - which made ALL of the difference in the world in correctly threading this machine! I have wasted many hours trying to thread this machine properly, repeated tests, and terrible results. Your video saves the frustrating and gets me back to sewing quickly.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have actually had this machine for 12+ years, but have been too scared to try using it. Plugged it in yesterday for the first time, but couldn't get the stitches to work. Figured first step is to rethread, so now I understand how to thread the looper. My question is - do you know what it means if the left needle isn't creating any stitches at all? The right one seems to be doing it's job, but of course, without that left stitch, it all unravels.
Thank you for this, I was just gifted this machine and would have NEVER got this!! Can you tell me why you did the “make shift” in the back… was that just for threading or does it need to stay on that extra stand while sewing?
Do you know where I could get a chain stitch foot fir this machine? Your video was so helpful in getting my machine threaded! Are you doing any other videos on using his machine? I am clueless about how to start and stopL
Thank you so much. This video helped me and my wife a lot.😀
