Best 7ply allwood baldes (bat, paddle) ranking top 10 Sorry guys, thickness of SK7 is 6.8 mm. 6.4 mm is wrong. Enjoy & Please Subscribe for motivation :D
I played with Nittaku Septear. It is a great blade. May not be very fast but very good control, good for loop, short push, block. Used to play with Jonyer hinoki (5-ply). Changed to Septear after the introduction of plastic ball.
i played with this Blade. PG9 is really a good Blade, even i’m a beginner, i can say this Blade is amazing, paired with Yinhe Jupiter 2 black (FH) and Nittaku Fastarc S-1 red (BH). easy to do backhand shots, flick, loop, smash, and push
Thickness is very important. Because it relates to rebound speed of ball. Thick blade's rebound speed is fast. Thin blade is slow. So, generally thinner blade has good control and thick one has good speed.
jimmy foo ...attention... the thickness not is all. I play with a blade with 9 ply...but this blade is defensive! Depending of the quality of the wood. If you are intermediate all round player probably your choice is a 5 ply medium hardness. Stiga, Donic , Butterfly or Yasaka have many models for you ...not expensive...
The so called "foil" is just a sheet of paper (included to reduce the stiffness of the blade). And paper is made out of wood, so it actually is allwood ;)

I got the Stiga Clipper, but the Joola Falcon Fast is a great 7 ply all wood blade as well
love the 6th one
Where is Avalox P700???
Excelent top 10. My personal favorite, Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro... But it's 3rd in this ranking, so it's fairly okey... Hehe...
Samsonov Force Pro is too slow today compared to carbon blade even with hard rubbers like MXP, but it's amazing blade learning the game.
fextra 7?
As an intermediate player how many layers of wood would be the most suited for me?
It absolutely depends on your preference.
Even a top player, Xu Xin uses 5ply wooden blade.
you havent' tried osp ultimate 2 and joola viking, it'd put 'em above clipper any time
Stiga Rosewood VII is a great blade too.
Antuan_TT now I play with DHS PG9 7ply all Wood....20 euro on AliExpress for a great blade!!
i thought that would be DHS PG7 before Stiga Clipper Wood.
DHS PG9 the most flexible 7ply blade, only Donic Persson powerplay is nearby but the control and sense of the PG9 is higher

no.1.for me Nittaku acoustic
you're off topic, it's about 7pl blades
How is the thickness of the blade make difference?

Avalox P700
Persson powerplay has a layer of foil so not Allwood
I didn't know that.
Could you teach me source for my understanding?
Thanks

Is it powerplay has good feeling compare to stiga allround classic?
