Since the first episode of this video format got over 1 MILLION views within five months, I decided to do another one. Let me know if you want to see more of this. Also if you have any topics that I could might cover, let me know in the comments.
I absolutely loveed this video. I've played a long time however I don't feel as I'm as good as I should be. Your videos have shown me so much! Your explanations are very understandable and not muddled by "fluff" which just adds time on videos. Thank you so much! Please upload more of your runnouts and showing potential defense when necessary. These are great! And there hasn't been one that I didn't find helpful. Thank you!
Great video! I don't comment much, on any channel I subscribe to for that matter, but I did want to voice that I appreciate what you do, your professionalism, and it's great to have lessons that I/we can watch time and time again. I used to pay for pool lessons years ago, and even back in the day it didn't come cheap. Your technique is great. Keep up the great work.
Incredible! Thank you so much for your time and attention. Giving us the multiple potential outs or shots really helps. I know when I get down I can 10 ways to do but only 1-2 are the correct ways. Practicing good habits carries over to real time momemts
Another terrific lesson, Sharivari! But I would like to see you re-set to the 6 ball shot, though. I think there is a point to be made here on position play. You and I are both tall and left-handed (and I now use a 64" cue). So the follow and stun shots both left a left-handed shot on the 7-ball. But the draw shot was a better shot for either left or right-handed players. I would like to see another shot on the 6-ball with follow and perhaps some inside spin to avoid the 9 (if needed) to set up the 7 ball from the left side of the table. Then the shot on the 8 would be easier, at least for a lefty, but consider shooting position so that right-handed players (especially those with less reach than you and I) would have good position as well. Keep up the great work!
My view is that, even if you need to use a rest/extension, getting the 7 ball from where he chose is better percentage wise, since if you go to the left side of the table, even if you don’t get behind/bump the 9 ball, you will probably have to go to the left long rail and come back for position (so, across the line, not towards) and you could also easily scratch on the left middle pocket. But, of course, that’s my view/preference.
Also, loved the Mezz cue extension. Saw it in person before. I have to upgrade someday. Because Mezz is sponsoring you (and they sponsor a local tour in my area) they are gonna be first on my list to check out!
1st of all THANKS a lot for the great material that you are doing and the help you are providing with your great work. Like to say also that you do have a wonderful personality that make following you and learning from you even more easy and fun in the same time. I am thinking of getting a billiards ball set and the Aramith Black is growing on me. The fact that others might not be used to the (5) being purple and might keep confusing them while playing is making me think of the Aramith tournament TV set. What help or advice can you give me here pls.
Thank you. Well, I didn't experience any noticeable difference in the playability. So my advice would be to just get the set you like more from the look. I used the Aramith Black now for almost a year, but going to switch back because my subscribers like the standard set more.
@Sharivari Hi again. I was overthinking (like I do always) and I thought what if The Aramith company do a special orange (5 & 13) for the (Aramith tournament Black set)(maybe a new orange like they did with the green) and sell them separately for the ppl who would like to get that color next to the set :) . If you like the idea would you pls pass it to them as I assume your word can reach them easier than mine.
Not sure if you're a one pocket player, but I think folks who aren't into one pocket could use easy to follow and helpful material like your content to peak their interest in the game. For intermediate players, it's a pretty intimidating game, and I think there's a lot of potential for it if there was enough one pocket based content. Great videos! Good luck!
Nice and basic. Good way to execute the balls! Although I would appreciate if you can do a bonus and do a fancy shot like a draw two rail for position? I would like to see that idk 🤷🏻♂️ just saying think about it lol..
Great video. I just wish I knew which ball was which before hand because not all ball sets are the same color. Maybe a little color chart in the corner showing what's on the table or not.
Hi again. liked to share this info with you. I did email Aramith with my suggestion regarding the the (Aramith Black set) and they said that the Orange (5 and 13) balls for the black set will be available in the 2nd quarter of 2021 :)
Hi Mr. Sharivari, my name is Ricky Chew from Singapore. I am Singapore National coach and I am very impressed with your coaching which I saw regularly on you tube. I am extremely interested on your projectors and video keyboard to play and with indicator shown on the table. Can you provide more informations on how can i purchase.
Thanks a lot for this usefull video. Beside that I have problem cutting a ball on the side pocket, I am often too short or too long, is there a good way to figure out those cuts ?
Like watching your videos trying to get back into shooting stopped for 10 years for sickness now it’s frustrating just cutting the ball What tips you prefer soft medium or hard and what brand I was using hard tip on breaking stick and medium on my shooting stick. Any advice is greatly appreciated
@@Sharivari thanks for taking your time to answer my question. I honestly don’t know about shaft it’s hand made a fella had lath setup in his garage and made it out of maple I know the tip is 13mm but it fits my hands like a glove brushed shaft with 2000 grit sandpaper and slick! Also got a break stick made from cherry wood.
You mentioned at the end use a stop shot so you don't have a skid. Do you think skids come from center or follow shots more? I'm assuming stop or draw shots tend to not have skids based on that?
Skids occur when the cue ball is rotating forwards or backwards, so it either climbs up on the object ball, or makes the object ball jump. That's also why sometimes the cue ball loses more of it's energy, and sometimes the angle of the object ball gets straightened more.
Outside spin compensates the cut induced throw. Inside spin supports it and therefore the contact point on the object ball is more different to a non spin shot.
I agree with every way, shot, whatever, that you took with this rack. With that said, I disagree that you showed "Every Possible Way" to actually run that rack. 👍😇✌
Sorry to point out that although it was a tough shot that you weren't exactly safe on that first shot you took. The 2 ball wasn't close enough to the rail so an aggressive player would have just cut it in. Otherwise this was a nice clean run.
I notice you like to aim at the center of the cueball and then put the intended spin during the last stroke. Why? Your cue isn't going in a straight line this way.

Just look for the What's In The Case Video on my channel :)
Love the new table & setup! What's the rail stickers you're using? I assume those are to help train banking?
Exactly. They are called Diamond Slicers by KAMUI.

Depends a bit on your shaft. However, I like the medium tip. Not too extreme, in either direction.

Sure, it's the EC9 with Ignite shaft.

Hi Just wondering what Tip are you using on your pool cue? What kind of cue is it?
It's a Mezz EC9 with an Ignite shaft, I am using a KAMUI Brown Medium tip.
@@Sharivari Thank you so much for making those video, helps me a lot learning the game.

can you explain why inside spin makes the shot harder?
Outside spin compensates the cut induced throw. Inside spin supports it and therefore the contact point on the object ball is more different to a non spin shot.

It's the EC9-CMN2
