Hey Marty, just wanna thank you for the help, your tutorials are fantastic. Just wondering if you could maybe do more McCartney stuff, whether it be from the McCartney 3 album, his solo stuff or even his stuff from the beatles. Just asking cause I love his stuff, but your a great teacher, so thank you
thank you for posting this video, part of my learning journey is learning songs, you can practice scales which are important but actually using the scales solidifies what you are practising and getting clear and concise lessons is really important and you do excellent job Marty. When things get better for me I will look into your Patron, I love Warren Haynes Dick Betts, but one player as a Toronto boy that I loved is Rik Emmett from Triumph there is not many Triumph lessons out there, another is Kim Mitchell from the Kim Mitchell band and Max Webster,it would be great to see a lesson from Max Webster era and Kim Mitchell band also, I know your the man to show us.
I started playing last week and now im in a band and we are about to take off on our European tour with buckethead and tosin abasi opening for us. Jk ive been playing for almost 3 years exactly. Lol. Good to hear stories like yours tho.
Keep it up, even when you feel like you're getting nowhere. It can feel like you're not making progress. But your muscles learn every time you play. That goes for bad habits too, so always take breaks 👍🏼 most important.. have fun 🤟🏾😎
The passing of Dickey Betts has stirred a 'Revival' of The Allman Brothers band for me.... I just forgot how great a band they were and the marvelous melody master Dickey was.... I just have too many different guitar styles to juggle around, and I love them all...but for now, I'm going to revisit one my all time favs.... RIP Dickey....and thank you Marty for making this forray a bit easier... much time savings here.
One of my favorite things about this song is hearing all the different live versions. Different notes, articulations, and harmonies make this always seem new. Thanks for covering this favorite song!
I remember when I first started to learn how to play guitar back in 2014 and I found it so difficult until I found your channel Marty. Your teaching skills are beyond perfect! You have thought us all brilliant tunes on the guitar for years now and we cannot thank you enough. Much love
Marty is more than a teacher. I’m telling you guys he has superpowers right as I get into the Allman Brothers band he posts this not even a week after I’m into them! Now I can learn a great tune thanks Marty!

Marty I love you 'scat' like sketching out of the vocals! I struggle to sing along even with simple songs. But your calling out of cords notes and scatting of the lyrics has Really helped me break through this personal barrier. THANKS

What is special and maybe unique about your lessons is someone can learn whole songs from whatever level they are at from the ground up. I guess because you take the time to talk about the song structure and basic harmony. Anyway, thanks.
