Brocade Ruckus ICX 7000 - VLANs and Routing - part 4

With this Video Martin Krausch (Sr. Systems Engineer) presents an introduction to the VLAN technology and the basic routing feature set of the Brocade ICX 7000 family of Switches and Routers. It starts with an introduction of typical OSI Layer 2 technologies like VLANs, IEEE 802.1Q tagging, Brocade Dual-mode ports, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) implementations and Link Aggregation using LACP. Then it explains concepts and advantages of basic OSI Layer 3 routing features like configuring Router interfaces, static routing and IP helper addresses (when using DHCP in the network). It ends with a short demo how to setup VLANs and basic routing features on the Brocade Ruckus ICX 7250 systems.
