These videos showing off Steve’s collection have been fantastic! What makes it even better is Steve’s knowledge of his books, when he bought them and the stories behind them. Also, just casually pulling out his FF#1 earns him GOAT status!!
The way Steve goes in detail about the smallest things on the covers is awesome to see. I'm guessing a lot of modern "collectors" only care about the value of the comic.
This collection is absurd. Thanks for sharing. I also liked the question that you asked about what he’ll do with this collection. It’s something that we as collectors often don’t think about.
"I'll just give you the highlights": with a collection like this, where do the highlights start? It's all highlights! I know many collectors like to say that a pre-FF #1 character is a prototype of a later character but unless there's documented proof, the later character is just Stan recycling a previously used idea. Ben and May Parker however are certainly the same characters, not just because of the names but also the way Ditko drew them in both their Strange Tales issue and later in ASM. "Killdozer!" is a 1974 TV movie based on Theodore Sturgeon's 1940s novella. Worlds Unknown only lasted seven issues and adapted older SF short stories and SF/Fantasy films. "Fumetti" is the Italian word for a comic strip or comic book; "fume" means "smoke" and "fumetto" is the diminutive form in reference to the smoke-like puffy thought and speech balloons used in early Italian comics. Those early 70s DC Gothic titles are among the hardest to find from that period.
Finally caught up! Took a vacation and missed a few weeks. Great vids, guys. Steve, if you see this, know I am super envious. You have literally every book I would want to own almost. (Probably have the other ones too somewhere, lol) My hope is you have someone that can inherit your collection and keep it together. (Grant it, of course. My opinion doesn't matter.) Thank you so much for letting these guys see your collection. You are extremely right. These books are never seen, let alone known about. As soon as I saw Strange Tales 1, I realized you weren't playing around. Most just go for the keys in that run. If I wore hats, I would tip it to you, sir! 😊
he definitely has a million dollar collection or pretty close, saw a couple that are very expensive books .no planet of the apes my favourite .im sure he has some .
"Aircel...whoever they are" Lol. They were a pretty big company in the 80s and early 90s and eventually merged with Malibu. I guess when your main collection focus in Marvel key issues, they aren't that relevent. Coincidentally, Marvel buying Malibu basically put Aircel out of business for good.
Hey Sara and Angelo, how much does it cost to insure a comic book collection valued at this magnitude? Is it best to provide insurance coverage for this valuable collection through homeowner's insurance or through a separate collectible insurance company altogether? How do you and Sara provide insurance coverage for your comic book collections at home?

Little Archie Mystery.
LETS GOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO 😎💪👑✌️✌️🙏👑😎😎
Douchebag!
I'm cringing in every episode of him bending all his books as he shows them off. Then he's throwing his books on the floor. So sad!!😢
He's a collector, he's
aware of what he's doing!
Take into consideration they are not the dead sea scrolls
🔥🤘🔥

Wow…I hope it’s insured!
Angelo's talent is to memorize first appearances but does he read any of them? How about all the comics in between?
You are always hating on the comments 😂😂😂
This guy flangs hos comics around like hot cakes. Sheesh comics are like babies not jelly beans flung around.
Man shows books. Great collection. Vids have been extremely low effort lately though.
They show a million dollar collection.
You: low effort.
