I hope they literally throw away the key and forget his ass in prison. I realize not all metally ill people should be in jail but when you choose to not take your required meds to keep yourself and others safe you need to either be in a metal health facility or in jail. under look down. behind a one way in one way out . This man should be away forever. Never get another chance.
The Hillsborough County sheriff's are the most fair sheriff's ive ever had in counters with...they are always professional from what I have seen..i respect that..
That is how law enforcement should be, on the streets, in the jails makes no difference, treat other as you wish to be treated!!!

Unfortunately true. Nephew beat his elderly Mom, robbed her, many calls and several arrests, shes dead, but he only went to prison finally for headbutting a cop.

Please allow me. We will write a story about how you would be feeling if the officers were coming to your hospital room to support you, You would be moved by such an honor, and would not say a word about the job duties. In cases like this a neighboring county would send a few of his deputies to support the local sheriff, it is called a mutual agreement that most all law enforcement agencies do, this includes city police, county sheriff's, state police, the FBI and the ATF, they were supporting one of their own and if I were asked I would cover gladly to support my brother officers.
