One thing I can say as a proud Central Floridian, we have some of the absolute best county sheriffs. Just like anything else, when u have a culture of consistent mentality & no nonsense approaches from one it’s spreads out to the further community. From Marion Co, Volusia, Orange & probably our most famous Sheriff, Grady Judd from Polk Co, they all are one in the same when it comes to their approach & the willingness to work together beings a level of cohesiveness that is unparalleled. Obviously Central Fl is unique to this country given the transient nature of Florida as a whole but also with the insane amount of visitors as well as new residents , there’s always going to be an heightened level of crime. However, if we didn’t have the type of law enforcement in central fl that we do, which is absolutely some of the best in the country, we would be no diff than your Baltimores, Chicagos, St Louis etc. Yet we’re anything but. We’re proud & grateful for our law enforcement here in Central Fl & in FL as a whole.

My parents INSISTED on meeting my friends and their parents throughout grade school and until senior year of High School. They wanted to know what I was doing and with whom at all times. I hated it when I was a kid, but I stayed out of trouble and was an excellent student. It's harder now for parents to see everything a child is doing. The internet has made parenting a more difficult task. Parents need to be part detective and part friend.
One girl came to spend the night and when her mom came to pick her up, she threw her overnight bag at her mom. My dad was LIVID. Needless to say, she didn't come back. Watch the people around your kids!! Don't be afraid of disciplining your own kids. Prepare them to be functional adults.

20 years is too long. 10 years even!!!
Also, many parents are at fault...then governing bodies. Some teachers and principals can't do much because MANY (not all) parents are spoilt, can't parent, and don't want to admit they've failed as parents. Those parents get defensive when they're told about their children's misbehaviours or similar actions. You can't discipline kids because ...well those same parents and society. Everyone wants to sue someone for "child abuse" or get someone reprimanded because of an attempted corrective action towards a child. My parents would sit me down and discuss the consequences of my behavior and the law even back in the 1950’s and how I was taught right from wrong in my home and would be held accountable for my conduct. Maybe even more importantly, my parents told me that my conduct represented my family. I was instilled with family pride and was made to feel responsibility to represent my family well. And that is what is lacking in the American family today; family pride. It was also made known to me that I better pray the law got to me before my parents did because the consequences would be double whatever the law did to me and I was made to believed it.

Also illegal aliens are coming across our border In tremendous numbers. Also guns are coming across our border. With the current administration welcoming all of this How do you expect to keep them from going into people's hands? They're even coming across our border and having major shootouts with our police and border patrol in our land. The drugs are coming in by the tons every day. Weapons are coming in everyday. The people that do bad things with guns will always get a gun. And if they can't, they will find another way. You know like the guy that mowed down people in the parade with a vehicle right after the liberal DA and judge. Let him back on the streets after trying to run his girlfriend down with that same vehicle. darell brooks, However you spell it. a pos. Unfortunately not all parents care about their children and lots of kids live through a lot of trauma. This is the result

In Chicago, 12 year olds throw other kids off buildings and shoot intelligent kids from roof tops with rifles. Nothing is done about it. No one cares.

Except we don't discuss the Color of the Victims Vs the Killers...... Had it been turned around we would have had the title "Three Racist White Supremist Kill 3 defenseless African Americans in Hate Crime" Yet go search for this story on google and see how few articles are even mentioning the victims let alone the race. So to your Point the "Political Correctness" Agenda has been placed upon this story.
