End grain is better for a number of reasons, but mostly they are superior for non-cerated knives. They help keep the blades sharp and keep the board in good shape since the blade slides between the fibres.

When making the juice grooves and handles do you use the same router bit that is rouded? (I cant remember the name of the bit.)
Also, what method do you use to make sure you are getting uniform and straight juice grooves?

Hi, wenn ich als Mann Daumen und Zeigefinger nahe zusammen zeige und hinzufüge es ist so kalt, weiß jeder was gemeint
ist. Ist nipply-cold deine Erfindung (versteht auch jeder sofort) oder allgemeiner Sprachgebrauch für die weibliche Variante (wenn nicht sollte es das werden....).
Wenn du das Holz polierst, lenkt mich das irgendwie von der Arbeit ab....
