What a joyous and uplifting version of this happy Christmas song! Where would this country be without ALL the selfless key workers - who can still find time to support the NHS by recording songs? Wishing you all every success with the recording. Stay safe and well. Wishing EVERYONE a happy, healthy, safe, peaceful and content 2021.
Well done! That's amazing. Thank you for all your hard work & for taking extra time to make this video. Congratulations! Hoping you'll all get some peaceful time off . Happy Christmas!
Wishing here that i can also be part of your team in Cardiology Department as Cardiac Physiologist. Please pray for me that i can get the job position in your Hospital as Cardiac Physiologist 🙏🏼
I thought we was all in a 3rd tier lockdown? Overrun by covid-19? Thought hospitals were busy? Inundated with covid patients? Did you not take an oath to serve & protect the general public? Or have all NHS staff this year all of a sudden become musicians? Patients are not getting their cancer treatments or any other treatments as due to covid "as we have been told" have to be pushed backed! But you have time to make a musical video? I support the NHS & love what they have done in the past but throughout this year all I've seen is only music, singing & dancing videos from you all? Sorry but double standards springs to my mind especially when you start to see things like this & as your told something completely different from the main stream media! Read between the lines people... I've not written this comment to badger anyone that took part in this but as Judge Judy Sheindlin says "If it doesn't make sense, it's usually not true". You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.
We all donated our own free time to do this. Having worked all week, I (as my colleagues did) came in hours before my official shift to record this - to cheer and encourage the staff, patients and people to whom this DOES speak. The altrustic, hard working people who work in the NHS also happen to be really talented - many of them could be doing easy, well paid jobs but they chose to serve the sick. Im sorry if you find this video frustrating, but a video of us wiping away our knackered and heartbroken tears, would probably not help this "war effort", even if it made that suffering easier for you to see and appreciate. I assure you - it is there but we thought it "good form" not to share that part with you. Hope you and yours keep well.
WELL DONE to EVERYONE @RLH! Not only have you worked so hard endlessly & selflessly & continuously throughout the whole of the pandemic, but at ALL times! I wish you a very merry Xmas & New Year and I hope you get some rest! xx
People who works in NHS have a life and hobbies outside the hospital you know...... We don't spend 24 hours a day caring for patients and yes, even on busiest duty we have a laugh. So hey oh, your comment is absolutely pointless and very rude.
Hi, Rocky. You are absolutely correct! One day while lazing away at work, we were all just magically given musical talents-we definitely didn’t have them prior to filming day. Then curiously, we found trumpets and oboes and pianos in our locker rooms. We thought this was a sign so, despite having clocked in for work, we instead left all our patients to fend for themselves in order to do this silly video.
Mari Roberts - beautifully put. I have a good friend (won't mention name or senior position) who works at Barts and the Royal London, and she is not musical but Wow can she cook, knit, sew, do triathlons and many other things, and never misses a birthday of friends or family. Intelligent and talented people often manage to cram a lot into their lives and they really do need diversions from the hugely demanding jobs that they give their "all" to. Love the video - great musicians, singing, dancing, editing. Well done to everyone involved. Thank you for all you do - day in day out - for all of us, including the ungrateful ones. I hope everyone manages some R and R at this terrible time. Happy Christmas to you all.
