Can venous eczema be cured.
Yes, absolutely it can be cured. Do not listen to this bilge. Only vein experts can dole out correct advice, not this lot.
Venous eczema shouldn’t be just managed, which is all our NHS would do. The underlying cause needs to be treated. I have gone through all of this, but after eight years of pain and being sent back and forwards to leg ulcer clinic I referred myself to a specialist vein clinic. I underwent EVLT together with Transluminal Occlusion of Perforators followed with a necessary eight week gap with Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy.
Incidentally, if a person has incompetent perforator veins the NHS will be unable to work on them because they do not employ Phlebologists (vein specialists)
