So just a suggestion for the nano tank...... whatever you decide to put inside of it, one should be named after Ashley, as a reminder of her awesome work ♡
I am no scape artist nor do I have the knowledge, just idea that flew in my brain, I am sure it would be complicated, but even if just rock moss and wood, it would be stunning.
Ashley has taught me sooooo much in this video. I have a 55 gallon tank that has been sitting empty for about a year. I need to clean it out and start all NEW. Money has been tight. It has the old light sets on top so I need to invest in LED. I want to be able to have live plants also. So I need to be able to have lights that support that too. So watching Ashley show and teach us has taught me a lot. Thank you!!
He got someone else to do it for him and someone else to film most of the process. He didn't invest time nor did he try to learn about planted tanks. smh
Ashley is amazing. Paul, I’m sure I’m speaking for most of us when I say we’d love to see more of her on the channel! She seems to have a heart of gold.
Ashley is amazing!!!!! I learned so much watching this video. I am going to plant a large fish bowl and I would not have put enough plants. I think this is the most beautiful planted tank I have ever seen. I hope she has good luck with her business. I think the farm is looking great. I love the pigs. They are just big babies. Landscaping will add so much interest and beauty. Kenan has been doing a lot of planting at the camp. He has a friend who hooks him up with large beautiful plants. And of course, Hector is still the man!
I do put my soil in mesh bags so it's easier to remove and wash out or reuse. I just lay a line of filled bags down the tank and overlap as needed for hills. Keeps it from mixing with my sand/gravel. When I do clean I take a spare filter and put some water buffer floss in it. Get a turkey baster and lightly blast the debris away from the plants and kick up from the substrate. I let the filter catch what it can and repeat until it looks better. The shrimp, snails and Corey catfish will clean the rest.
I do add CO2 to the tank. I just bought a pressurized stainless steel tank kit. You dump water, baking soda, and citric acid in it, cap it off. Mix the canister and run a diffuser into the tank. That generates CO2 gas for a few weeks depending on tank size vs canister size.
Having been in the Aquarium hobby for 15 years now, scaping is for sure my favourite part of it. A very good scape by Ashley. Suggestion: With that many plants, you'd need CO2 injection in that tank.
Thats just simply not true. You dont need Co2 for those species of plants as they are all low-mid tech plants. Plus the fact that the Co2 would be wasted on plants like that as there are no stems
@@limezy1374ok let me reiterate it. *Consider adding CO2 injection to the tank. The term "low-to-mid tech" mainly describes the minimum requirements for the plants to survive. While they can grow under those conditions, they’ll thrive much better with CO2 injection. Even a plant like Cryptocoryne wendtii will look significantly different with added CO2, and the hairgrass will form a denser, more attractive carpet. I’ve grown these plants in everything from no-tech to high-tech tanks, and I can assure you, the difference is remarkable. Another big reason to consider CO2 injection is algae control. Managing algae can be tough, especially in a tank of that size. I’ve seen people become so frustrated with algae that they end up leaving the hobby entirely. Since this is his only freshwater aquarium and he has the budget, there’s no need to limit it to the bare minimum.
Ashley is a freaking ROCKSTAR!! Wow, so talented!! 😍❤ I'm in Canada, so a bit too far to use her services, but I'll definitely be adding all of her socials and would love to follow along throughout her future projects!! Thanks Ashley!! ☺☺
Paul!!! I hope you know how genuinely necessary you are to the world. The absolute salt of the earth. I love watching for the fish and animals, but I mostly love seeing the world through your eyes. You're such an incredible human. Thank you.
You should make a bridge on stilts/feeding deck to get to the back of the enclosure. Then you don't need to clean off the pathway or walk through the gate to feed the pigs. Or you could make a metal scoop/bucket that's attached to a cable and pulley wheel. You would anchor it to a post and then suspend it in the trees. Put food in the scoop, pull the cable until it travels to the back pen and then have a board placed below the pulley/cable path to tip the scoop and drop the food onto the feeding slab. It would be a fun little project.
PC you hit the jackpot having Ashley scape your 125 gallon tank and you worked well together!! Appreciate explanations as you went along step by step teaching us! The property is transformed again! Oh wow tank reveal, Ashley did a Fantastic scape!!! Out of sight Video!!!
I've been collecting stones and random wood from outside for my aquascapes. Usually I buy a few different plants I like but then find some natural local plants from outside. It's about as cheap as I can get. I have taken regular plants and accumulated them into water. Been a hit and miss but usually try to find plants/weeds that are in the ditch that are submerged most of the year. It's kind of a work in progress. One day I'll see if I can go to a meet up and buy propagated plants off someone.
Paul, you are so amazing. It's clear that you read your comments and learn from them, and make the changes necessary for your animals well being. We are all going on a big learning journey with you and it's been so much fun to watch it evolve! I have a small farm myself and I constantly relate to you. I've learned a lot as well! Thank you for sharing this fun adventure :)
Tigerbarbs out, perfetc action for community tank, less gank violence is always great. Just had to look for a new home for my tigerbarb today, sad but I just can´t with the fins of my other fish getting nip. Beutyful tank Paul, gretings from Tijuana Baja California Mx :)
Thank you so much REALLY THANK YOU, you made the right choice and the plants and fish are actually thriving now, thank you for taking in the considerations and suggestions of your community. We really appreciate when you listen to us.
Awesome video ! I learned a lot ! Always wondered why the one plant always died it was because I buried it to deep ! Thanks for the info ! You and Ashley did an Amazing job !
Definitely need some shrimp in the nano. Not sure if you will get any to breed if you do they are a great protein source if they accidentally get eaten. But are great way to keep tanks clean.
Great job, Ashley! I followed her new channel. Wow. The tank is amazing. I love the movement of the plants. It needs a couple more brightly colored fish. Imagine a pair of bright red male swordtails or maybe some cherry barbs.
Wow! Big kudos to Ashley! It looks amazing! Could I maybe give an idea to improve the already amazing look of the tank? How about some redish colored plants to break up some of the greenery? I think it would look great around the wood and rocks and maybe a couple around the temple. Which by the way thank you for keeping. When I get my tank. I want two Oscars (tiger and albino), a bischer, a cool plecco of some kind, some tiger barbs.. maybe a couple of silver dollars. I've always wanted a fish tank of my own, but you've definitely inspired me to pursue the dream. And I want a planted tank. Wood, substrate, rocks. Both big and small and a resting Buddha as the center piece. It's gonna be epic! The moving of the pigs was a great decision too. I swear that boar hog is soooo dang-gone adorable!! 🤗 I would kiss him right on the nose! 😘😘😘 Lol As always awesome video Paul! Til next time, love ya! ❤
Ashley’s work is awesome, she has definitely found her calling ❤. This is why Paul has almost 3mil subscribers. He not only listened to the people who watch him but he got someone involved that created a great scape and she also educated him and us along the way !
this type of videos ARE THE BEST !!! FARM tour and showing all the animals not only the fish are the best videos paul, i hope you keep uploading this type of contect !
Loved the video! Turned out great. Those plants will grow in nicely and look even better and more full in a month or 2. I didn’t see her put in any root tabs in the soil though for the rooted plants. Also make sure you add fertilizer to your water so the plants get nutrients in the water column. Now let me say that you need to add…. School of Corydoras Amano shrimp Bristlenose plecos And please please turn this into a discus tank 🙏🏻 You need some center piece fish. A school of rummynose tetras would look amazing as well ❤
Wow I'm blown away. What a transformation. Absolutely sick planted tank. You better keep that tank the way it is. Never dismantle that tank. That is one sick tank.
As an Aquascaper myself I think Ashley did an excellent job in the composition , planting and did the aquarium justice ✨️🌿👌 my OCD couldn't watch the previous scape 😅😂
Ashley is AWESOME!! She definitely knows how to make a tank look bad ass!! You and Ashley should scape a subscriber’s tank together. That would be an awesome video!! Three cheers for Ashley!!! Your tank is absolutely beautiful ❤!!!
I KNEW those tiger barbs are going to be trouble cus I had some of them in my freshwater tank and they were absolute bullies By the way Ashly absolutely nailed the aquascape.

If you wanna ship the tiger barbs to pa ill take them
There are loads of API products to help get your tank started, that would have saved the fish mate.
I breed shrimp and plecos, you should get some of mine.
Yo I love your videos they are incredible
One of a kind
Thanks for the shout out! We're so happy we were able to provide the rocks, sticks, and gravel!!! It turned out very nice! Thank you Ashley!!!! 💜💚💕
Ashley absolutely nailed it. The tank is absolutely amazing!

It's beautiful ❤
So just a suggestion for the nano tank...... whatever you decide to put inside of it, one should be named after Ashley, as a reminder of her awesome work ♡
Ashley is a bad ass🤘🤘🤘 made my day. Paul she has to scape the Amazon corner outdoor pond!!!!
@@amydoreendarling3309 im pretty sure he already did
Oooooh!
Not sure you can do that cause the big fish in there will rip up plants and destroy structure. Just how it is with em unfortunately.
@rogueisded there is moss and hard scape tho i think
I am no scape artist nor do I have the knowledge, just idea that flew in my brain, I am sure it would be complicated, but even if just rock moss and wood, it would be stunning.
Ashley's work is beyond the next level. It is totally awesome.
Ashley, did a great job. She is talented, genuine, and a kind person. I wish her all the success with all her future endeavors.

That's was sooooo dope! Bring Ashley back to the farm for the outdoor pond build! Keep up the great content Paul!
Shout out to Paul for listening and taking the time to make a proper planted aquasacape, and trying to learn about proper planted aquarium husbandry.
He got someone else to do it for him and someone else to film most of the process. He didn't invest time nor did he try to learn about planted tanks. smh
I think you should pay Ashley back by teaching her how to film and edit videos so we can see more of her magic
Ashley is amazing. Paul, I’m sure I’m speaking for most of us when I say we’d love to see more of her on the channel!
She seems to have a heart of gold.
Ashley is magical & so humble, well done girl.
Ashley has some serious skills! I subscribed to her channel, can`t wait until she posts some videos.
Build another fish building button 👇
Exactly what I was thinking lol build a bigger one and put like reptiles and stuff in there to
That would be amazing have even a bigger reef pond and predatory pond
Our better yet a big Amazon building a big pond with a waterfall and big Amazon fish at your feet a nice bridge and snakes in there
At the front of the property between old hog enclosure and the fence 😂

Ashley did a fantastic job! I love that the temple was still included in the scape! Just love it! 😍😍😍
Amazing job done. This is definitely the best scaped tank...even better than the reef tank.
She did an amazing job. Shaping is my favorite part of tank's, but I'm a beginner. I love the amazing talent these scapers have.❤
