Kindness is a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see. It is something that can lift a person's spirits, no matter how down they are. It is something that you don't see as much as you should, but when you do, it warm's your heart. It puts others before itself whenever it gets the chance. It is gentle whenever it can be But knows when it must stand up for what is good. Fluttershy is the very embodiment of all this, that's why she's my favorite.
This is the part of the fandom I like. No, love. Not the part of the fandom where everyone is arguing about who should be shipped with whom, and making dirty jokes about these wonderful ponies, but instead the part that is inspired by the show to create art, help each other, laugh, share, and be together. The part of the fandom where everyone enjoys the simple purity of the show and not tainting it inappropriate content. The reason why I loved the show when I saw it is that everyone is friendly, kind, and happy. The characters in the show are friends to me, even if they are just in a cartoon. And they become even more real through songs like this one. Man, I love this fandom.
When I first watched the show, I coulsd have easily binged it, loved it, and moved on like I do with almost every show. It's a great show but quite honestly it isn't quite among my favorites. But discovering fan content kept me around. The fandom's creativity is pretty exceptional among many of the fandoms I've been a part of, and it has continued to inspire me and keep me interested in pony all this time.
I 100% agree with what you are saying. When I first heard about the Brony fandom, I laughed and scoffed. However, I met a few of those Bronies, and they were some of the kindest, most welcoming individuals I had ever met. That's what I love the most about this fandom; the community. Yes, they can come up with some seriously messed up stuff, but for every "Rainbow Factory", or "Cupcakes", there are at least 20 things like this song. Its a beautiful fandom, and I am proud to be a part of it!
I feel the same way for everything you said. Before I started watching the show and joined the fandom back in March of this year, I wasn’t in a very good spot mentally. I was bored out of my mind, I had no idea what I was going to do, and I had nothing new to watch. Until my brother introduced me to My Little Pony, I watched it one night and straight away I was hooked into the show. I could go on and on about what makes the show so great, that would take forever though. But I really just want to say what I love about the fandom. The main thing I notice about the fandom is how kind everyone is towards one another. On a Minecraft server I play on called BronyTales, the players there are incredibly friendly, and I absolutely love that. If someone was going through a hard time, the players would try and cheer that person up and make them happy again, just like how it was in MLP. Not watching MLP before it ended is one of my biggest regrets now, because I had no idea that it would’ve been such a fantastic show to watch, and I’m now proud to call myself a Brony, and be a part of the My Little Pony fandom.
I don’t think the show is long gone because I literally started watching it with my daughter and look I’m here listening to fan created music; it still resonates with people regardless of when they started this journey!
With the family like relationships developed with the characters seeing t end is like watching your family die, but at least it was around a lot longer than that other great animated show avatar.
I absolutely adore the "Stretching out, you somehow reach me" line. I can't be the only one who thinks that could be a standalone piece of poetry. For me, it calls to mind feelings of astonishment and disbelief that a fictional character could bridge the gap from their world to reality and actually reach someone in such a real way. And yet, that is what happened, so it must be possible.
MLP helped me to keep myeslf alive through some very hard times in my life. I have a lot to thank it for. This song sums all that up for me and it just means so much to me.
FLUTTERSHY is a natural beauty with her gentle, serene ways. Despite her shy and unassuming nature, Fluttershy has a unique gift with animals. Her sweetness and sincerity can charm every animal, from tiny woodland creatures to the most powerful of mythical beasts, making her a valuable asset to her friends in all their adventures. Although she's afraid of heights (very embarrassing for a Pegasus) and shies away at the slightest sound, Fluttershy has no problem confronting grumpy manticores or scolding greedy dragons. While she lacks confidence, she has an inner strength that comes out when others are in trouble. Fluttershy has a lot of fears to overcome, but one day her strength of character and enormous heart will make her a force to be reckoned with.
Every once in a while I come back to this song- to all these old fansongs I loved so much as a kid- and they still make me so happy. It had its bad parts, but the brony fandom really was like no other I've been in, the passion and love people had that led them to create things like this... It was kind of amazing. I kind of miss it.
imagine if the producers of MLP:FiM asked Acousti if they could use these in the show, actually sung by their voice actors. holy shit, that would be amazing. i could actually see these being used in the Equestria Girls films, but that's just me. =)

My boyfriend said that this song reminds him of me, because that's a quality I have that his ex never really did. And that made me very happy but very emotional at the same time. I love him with all my heart and I know he struggles to fully express how he feels, so I'm glad this is one way he can.

After I have read and learned the meaning of the lyrics, I realised for so long, this song actually describes what I feel right now. In the dark of midnight, I still can feel the friendship spreading everywhere.
There's too much crying in this fandom. Everyone's always sad, depressed or regretful. How about instead of dwelling on the less inspiring things you might have done, you focus on what makes you happy. Or just think happy thoughts. Everyone's something done something they regret, but a lot of people have it better than they think. Just be happy with what you do have.

I'v been struggling to kick a drinking habit for a good while now I had hope once but I'v since lost it and that does not help my morale I know it's not the songs aim or meaning but the human spirit will always try to relate things I find anywho... when I hear the first half of the song I find some kinda odd comfort in it I'v always loved the struggle, the hopeless fight, the bitter end and finding hope where there is none persistence in the face of meaninglessness, and making/finding my own meaning sometimes its all iv got, so you learn to live with it. I feel like I'm giving up so much when I can't face my pain Like the times you fight the hardest are when you have nothing left But this is not that, this fight has more meaning and I just, I guess I can't always find it. Anyway was whistling the last little bit randomly after not hearing the full song for ages and got here the first bit of the song hit me really hard. I can't believe this is making me cry all over again. I've not been the biggest fan of the show as of late, so I'm going back and trying to remember all the fun times we had.
My cat was sitting behind me so I turned around and sang this to him. He is such a kind and loving cat who saved my life once. I will be moving soon and will have to give him up since I can't find a place that allows two cats, I have another one, but he will be going to one of my aunts and I will be able to see him.
I'm glad that you keep your songs somewhat vague, it really keeps the songs from being too specific and the lyrics of your music can mean different things depending on who hears it at what time... Not necessarily. I was just reffing the episode where Discord gets his first friend, of course being Fluttershy. Although, however unlikely, they would make for the most interesting pair. They're as opposite as night is to day.

I occasionally hear this song pop up amidst brony music mods for games, like Fallout 4, or 'surviving mars' ironically, and I somehow didn't find my way here until now... but everytime I hear this song it makes me cry... It makes me think of the state of the world right now and what it would take to heal the 'world'... It hurts in all the best ways, seriously... The unfortunate part is that anyone embodying this song that might 'try' to heal the world, would need to be 'very' heavily protected TxT

Been too long since I've listened to this series.
I'v been struggling to kick a drinking habit for a good while now
I had hope once but I'v since lost it and that does not help my morale
I know it's not the songs aim or meaning but the human spirit will always try to relate things I find
anywho... when I hear the first half of the song I find some kinda odd comfort in it
I'v always loved the struggle, the hopeless fight, the bitter end and finding hope where there is none
persistence in the face of meaninglessness, and making/finding my own meaning
sometimes its all iv got, so you learn to live with it.
I feel like I'm giving up so much when I can't face my pain
Like the times you fight the hardest are when you have nothing left
But this is not that, this fight has more meaning and I just, I guess I can't always find it.
Anyway was whistling the last little bit randomly after not hearing the full song for ages and got here
the first bit of the song hit me really hard. (I did not remember the lines)

I love how each of the Elements songs have a strong feel of their bearer in the series. Although out of the four you have done so far, this one in my favorite. I hope you have not abandoned this project, I really wish to see what you had in mind for Honesty and Magic.
I can't believe this is making me cry all over again.
I've not been the biggest fan of the show as of late, so I'm going back and trying to remember all the fun times we had.
My cat was sitting behind me so I turned around and sang this to him. He is such a kind and loving cat who saved my life once. I will be moving soon and will have to give him up since I can't find a place that allows two cats, I have another one, but he will be going to one of my aunts and I will be able to see him.

I'm glad that you keep your songs somewhat vague, it really keeps the songs from being too specific and the lyrics of your music can mean different things depending on who hears it at what time... I've listened to this song many times and nearly every time I do I find a new meaning, or experience to connect it to. I love your work, and wish you luck on any future endeavors.

Oh god... this song made me cry tears of both joy and heartbreak simultaneously. Joy because I know that if I was to ever meet my favorite pony Fluttrrshy, then even if we weren't in a romantic relationship these words would never fail to ring true, but I felt my very soul shatter when I realized it will never happen. I'd give everything I have just to be able to meet her... thank you, AcoustiMandoBrony. Your words pretty much changed my entire perspective on my daydreams and wishes, and made me realize that even though it's far beyond my reach, the daydreams give me comfort and happiness and are therefore truly worth having.
