When I first came to this, I thought it was a bug that could be abused to the player's advantage that no one knew about. But it shocked me MORE that it was SUPPOSED to be a feature, that NO ONE, not even the bloody creator knew! I could also definitely see this being effective, like putting harming on a sword to increase its damage. But yeah, you should consider adding a blacklist for some Potion Core potions that would be broken with this. Do you know when Better Survival will be updated?
No ETA yet! We're all taking our time to make sure 2.9.2 is as stable and solid as possible :)

@@AlternateDan Because we're working with the Better Survival developer, his update will likely come out around the same time as 2.9.2, hence my first post. We usually work together and release mods all around the same time for the pack after thoroughly testing them.

dude, shivaxi went from a random guy making a modpack to a professional streamer and content creator. Actually wild. super proud of him, even though I'm not a long time fan.
It's frankly ridiculous that a fantastic modpack was made by such an amusing, talented man. I looked into his channel when RLCraft first started, and I've followed him ever since. This man is hysterical.

I actually used this feature when I was playing with Better Survival outside of RLcraft, but I never used it in RL because it did not seem that op tbh

I swear this was a thing that got replaced by crafting your sword with a potion to apply it ala witcher oils but if you weren't aware of it that means it was a different modpack and now imma go crazy trying to remember what I'm thinking of

The explosion potion could have an effect timer that is actually a countdown for the explosion, that would probably fix the issue and make drinking the potion a little more interesting too.
Reminds me a bit of the secret tinkers construct weapon in mc 1.16

tbh i actually saw a video of tips for 2.8 and it mentioned about tipping your weapons in potions, the potion they used as an example was instant damage
i also think none of the potions should be blacklisted just for possibilities, bc if you're putting potions that summon explosions or lightning on your melee weapon that is your fault, not the game's

I can see why this would be a feature that works great... in isolation... but when combined with (in this case) explosion potions you get a handheld lag machine.

Unrelated to the video but I just want to say, thx shivaxi for the 2.9 updated, I started playing last February and my first experience with rlcraft was great (it was hard) but you gave me inspiration to play minecraft again, (I don’t like vanilla minecraft, it gave me a nostalgic feel to when I first started playing minecraft when everything was so new and an adventure!
It seems that instant damage would be the best one, followed by weakness
Maybe poison so you can use one less enchanting slot with Viper
No because it last 2 seconds this imbued thing, kinda useless.

So u can basically have levitator build without the downside of levitator enchant, or a viper build without envenomed.
I have a question, why haven't you updated the Ice and Fire mod yet?
I understand that it may be due to some programming problem, but the truth is that I would like to have the content of the most updated version, I feel that in the newest version of ice and fire the dragons and creatures in general are more useful.
I believe its bc dragon AI gets fucked when updated, and dragonsteel is too OP

Nobody knew they could be a witcher?
I find it hard to believe.
can't imagine a sword with extra utilities 2's doom potion effect (usually it was given by a block with 60s duration, then when the effect goes away you instantly die no matter what, with a 2s duration though...)
edit: luckily the potion is , but still thinking about one tapping any 64 mobs you hit

this is legit SO DOPE lol but yeah nah xD the only thing i tried with cauldrons was to get water in the nether in 2.9.1c but rip lol, but shiv is there not some way to still get water in the nether ? (no not the drinkeydrink portable container dragon canteen thing) ... i saw a tile of water in the nether on nutz's server back then but i wasn't able to get it myself in any way i tried and god forbid me how many ways i tried lmaooo...., please do leave some gamebreaking bugs or sth in so we can have fun finding them out xDDD cheers man and ty for making rlcraft great again (tho to cite republicans it never has been weak or not great)
