I feel they should have at least given it a speed boost. This would make it pair nicely with Toppo’s Super Soul. But I suppose the auto dodge, transformation counter, free counter, free soaring fist, and free charge makes up for it. You pretty much have three free Super Attacks plus your regular four with this awoken
the counter during mid combo can be stopped if the guy who attacked u turns around fast enough. It’s pretty much useless unless u use it during certain combos

The charging action is useless. Why would the awoken skill come with it if I could just equip it. You could take off the charge when you equip it but it’s just a waste bro. They should’ve done another cool attack or something. This ultra instinct backfired
I like the counter feature and the change to the ki blast, that was well thought out. Though they could’ve made it so you get a stat boost when your health is in the danger zone.
@ChaoticDemon66 They did for Beast form, they updated the stance and changed the aura the day after release and also updated SSGSS and SSB Evolution stats
I honestly combined UI with the “Damn… gonna have to go all out” super soul to compensate for it not having a stat boost and it definitely does make a noticeable difference plus the XXL speed boost the super soul gives is a good extra on top of that, helps make it more nimble

I don’t really know if the awoken skill really needs a stamina super soul because if you have your stamina maxed in the attributes menu and know how to manage it then stamina shouldn’t be much of an issue
OK after testing... -UI requires and consumes 5 bars of Ki to activate. -It's does not change any of your damage output, defense (damage reduction), or speed or Ki recovery or stamina recovery. -It grants auto-dodge at the cost of 1 stamina bar per dodge. -After a dodge press "A" to perform a counter attack that is undodgable for 3000 damage accross the board for all builds. Cost is one Ki bar. (1 stamina bar to dodge the a Ki bar to counter) -Your basic Ki blast are now weaker versions of Soaring Fist doing roughly a quarter of the Strike Skills damage. -Your charged Ki blasts are now a weaker version of Spirit Pulse doing roughly half the damage of the Strike Skills. -Holding block and pressing "Y" will activat s Surging Spirit. (You do not need a charge skill in your load out to use this) -The start up animation takes roughly 5.5 seconds. -You return to base form if your stamina is broken -If your get attacked in the middle of the start up animation you auto counter attack with a special undodgable attack. This is a purely defense and counter attack based form with no real damage increase whatsoever.
The counter requires 2 bars of Ki, not 1. I thought it was 1 bar of Ki, but I soon found out it takes 2 bars. So it takes 1 bar of stamina and 2 bars of Ki for a counter attack that you can’t follow up with and punishable if the opponent turns around fast enough? Ehhh…not really worth it
Now that I think about it, kinda wish at minimum, strike and ki ultimates could've been boosted if nothing else stat wise for now in the event they add buffs later like they did for other awokens Still grateful for them even giving us this transformation and for free as well as it being so easily accessible. Changes can still come in the next dlc/next gen version.
@@williamthomas4769 as I was playing and messing around with how it looks with different ults, I thought about Goku when he hit that last Kamehameha on jiren while in UI. Jiren had accepted defeat at that point until goku's body gave out. Then you can look back to before that when goku drops kefla out and how powerful that Kamehameha looked. Just a thought.
I love this awoken and honestly I don't even mind that it doesn't give a boost to stats. Although I do wish they buffed beast and take away that damage debuff and lower the damage you do to be slightly less than ssgss in exchange. Since ssgss or ssb does 25% the beast transformation should maybe be 20%.
You wish they BUFFED Beast of all skills AND took away the damage debuff? You’re insane! Beat is already one of the most insane skills in the game! It’s tied with SSBE with the main thing holding SSBE back being the massive ki drain

@@shawnodea5129Beast is in between SSB and SSBE. SSB is 25% with defense, Beast is 30% with negative defense, and SSBE is 35% with the extra defense above SSB. Beast drains 5 bars to use, has negative defense, and has an absurdly long animation. Not to mention, SSBE got buffed and now has the original SSB Ki drain, making it viable to stack with another move for ki recovery and slapping a SS like Toppo's on to give you 70% ACROSS THE BOARD in stats. There is no balance in this game if you're smart enough. Beast could be lowered to SSB levels but honestly it's stronger than the form and should just have base defense.

Doesn't actually boost stamina recov, it only boosts ki recov. Gamma 2s super soul "I just figured out who the real villan is!" Is far better than it anyway
One last thing worth mentioning is if you are stamina broken whether from your enemy or if you do it yourself, Ultra Instinct will deactivate. Proceed with caution everyone.
@@ONKINGDAVID The only other forms that do that are Kaioken Purification and Giant Namek. If you're stamina broken while in any Saiyan forms Potential Unleashed or Beast you'll still be transformed.
To be honest I feel like UI is a awoken that is useful for drawing aggro. I can imagine using this to help others by drawing enemies to me while others damage them. And just be dodging and weaving and countering. Especially when you can equip more moves to help in raids. At least for drawing aggro. But I like to screw around when I got enough damage to the raid boss. And just take more damage and aggro.
Data input stacked with ui allows you to dodge everything but ki blast supers and ults & eliminates the stamina drain you get from dodging with ui for 30secs, stack that with auto dodge limit burst makes you invincible for 30secs

I did. One has no stamina cost and restores ki. The other one lets you counter. Divinity unleashed works even better. It literally restores more ki on the counter than it cost.
Imagine Majins with 200 in Health or Frieza Race with 200 is Ki Blast Supers, Or 200 In Stam with Gigant Namekian, this game about to be getting crazier
A slight speed buff and more importantly a basic attack buff should of been implemented. We clearly saw Goku go from barely doing damage in Blue Kaioken on Jiren to serving straight lethal combos in UI.
sorry, not canon. what UI is making you do is giving you complete automatic Almost Perfection levels of fighting, its like a fighting style technique, and the "Form" that gives you white hair its a transformation that Lets you use that Fighting Style Technique that is "Flawless Fighting" easily.
I can see why they didn't give it a damage boost. But this can be worked around with certain super souls and such. Though I see it as a more counter offensive awoken skill, rewarding more patience rather than ki cancel.
Dude SAME. I'm sick of seeing that damn stance on every form. It's one thing for Blue, God, and Blue Evolution since Goku and Vegeta keep their normal stance in those forms, but UI Goku has a different stance. So in my mind at least, that should also apply to our CACs as well, especially since, as you said, that's how it is for SS3 and Beast.
UI is ok, If you use it with 'data input' you can basically have it with a very low ki consummation. Beast Gohan's Demon flash strike is broken now, anyone else know of any other moves that have been changed or currently broken?
@@Duckywest412 They recover immediately from the kick instead of getting knocked away, they still take the damage but it leaves you open to getting attacked as you have to wait for your animation to end before you can move. In some circumstances, The enemy you counter can ignore it and they can hit or grab you while your kicking them. Not sure if its a common thing but it seems to happen once in a while.
I appreciate that it swaps out a stat boost for some convenience like the charge and the counter. I would’ve given it a less punishable transformation animation though. More similar in speed to Blue Evolution.
I actually enjoy the transformation and what it offers, but idk why it's the mastered version and not the omen version. It seems like that's how it preforms. Mastered UI is immensely strong, we should have gotten a small buff somewhere.
I think it would he cool if upon landing a successful counter with the ultra instinct you get a temporary damage boost for all attacks like 15 seconds or more.
Imo, I like how they balanced it but sadly that left it feeling underpowered. It needs one or two stat boosts to actually make it good. I would love a 5% damage boost or a noticeable speed boost to really sell the power increase. As it stands right now, it's maybe better than the vanilla SSJ forms, Beast (solely because UI has a safer transform animation), and Kaioken but it's worse than PU and all of the god SSJ forms, which is a weird place for it to be
I mean yeah If you can pull off beast you suddenly go glass cannon Ssjg makes ki a non issue and punch good Ssjb is just flat stats crazy with a barely noticeable downside Pu is ssjb if youre not saiyan or if any downside annoys you Ssjbe is still the highest damage boost and costs less ki over time than launch ssjb making it very hard to pick anything else, but still requires something to maintain And all the other forms are too heavilg outclassed to mention So having UI show up in a level boost update where your base stats are gonna be higher, yet giving the form no base stat boosts, is gonnw make it fall behind even further than if level 99 was still cap, even worse if it has noticewble downsides of No decent ki cancel Stupid short range thin ki blasts Although the charge skill is ok i guess, since you need to be in the form to do it its def worse than ssjg free damage super ki
I feel like the no stat buffs can easily be negated by using the BEAST supersoul. And to top it off, the new caps on attribute means it can get a lil extra push if need be. Overall pretty pvp viable for defensive playstyles and most importantly having fun.
I think I still prefer beast and SSG over mui, the beast aura is superior and you have a different stance with it plus the additional stats that come with them are pretty good.
I can't say it's a good or bad transformation. I'd say it's...decent. The auto dodge is a great feature at first sight, but you really need to take care of your stamina more than before and the timing to do a counter takes some practice to get the timing right (especially if you plan to use the form in PvP, which suffers from a notoriously bad netcode). Unfortunately, the counter does barely any damage despite taking two ki bars. If it's going to cost me that much, the damage needs to be higher. Otherwise, it should only cost 1 ki bar. A personal gripe: the look of the counter is severely underwhelming, so that's another negative; and I say that having seen Unleashed's Celestial Whirlwind skill from one of his Random Skill Packs, so I expected something to that degree. The change in ki blasts is a nice touch, but I'd prefer if you could hold the ki blast button to do up to three Soaring Fists. It would be less damage than the super attack version to balance it out. I don't like ki canceling or ki stunning, so not being able to do that doesn't bother me. Having no stat increases at all is underwhelming. I'd be fine with a 5% increase to attacks across the board or a 10% increase at the cost of taking 5% more damage. Attack aside, what really gets me is there's no increase to speed either. Ultra Instinct is shown to have godlike speed, yet there's no increase to our CaC's movement speed. It's like Dimps were so concerned or scared about balance that they just did nothing and called it a day. The transformation overall makes me feel like I'm fighting in base form but with some extra features. Those extra features are nice to have, and seeing the built-in ki charge that I see in mods now become an official thing is a solid plus, but those features leave a lot to be desired. Side note on the ki charge: it's not affected by super souls that give benefits from using a ki charge skill (e.g., "HAAAAA!") since, well...the ki charge isn't a skill, but rather an input; I don't know if that bit was intentional or Dimps overlooked that. Ultra Instinct is _okay_ but it needs a few buffs here and there. If the other transformations have to get buffed in response, that's fine. I know I'd like Potential Unleashed to get buffed.
You know with how they implemented UI with its own charge skill and prompt for it might be their way of testing charge type skills getting their own button prompt just like Kakarot if memory servers it the same way to charge in that game too. Would be nice if this comes to be true.
My main complaint is that it was too easy to unlock. I understand they’re trying to get people excited to play, but as someone whose played since XV1, I was disappointed, especially after all of the previous free update awoken skills. I don’t even think there was a level req. The beast quest with cell max was pretty cool. I think with the stat cap increase, UI is viable. I’ve already encountered someone with 15 bars of stamina using UI who knew how to perfect block every hit, and it was the least fair match I’ve ever had. My main is lvl 107 with 0H 42K 42S 180(ish)BA 60SS 60KS. Honestly, I think having max stamina might be the new meta.
I lowkey think it ups your speed a little and staimania regen but to be honest it kinda sucks. People are going to use it like ss3 just for style affect. Got to use a super soul to bring out big damage. At least giant and kid buu boost your attack power this is just some to play around with proably be lowkey op on a human or frost demon race tho.
Ultra Instinct is pretty good on Frieza race CaC with their built in stamina regen in combat since it doesn't stop during combos, the Awoken can use a bit of help though. Maybe a Speed buff but im glad they didn't go overboard with the transformation so they can tweak it later.
I see it as more of a utility transformation. You are really only using it for the auto dodging. Makes sense since it's more of a technique rather than a full on transformation.

My only complaints are once again UI is now another transformation that SHOULD have the ability change your fighting style completely while in that form and it doesn't, your stance doesn't change which is like the least they could have done and why in the fuck are we not stronger in that form??? Half great half ass to me. It's really cool and I'm looking forward to trying it myself but really wish and hope those things had something put in to them.
@David-nq8cv I peeped that but by fighting style I mean like our character combos for when you're using square and triangle or x and y (depending on whatever console you use.) I wanna see something different while in that form for combos, back hit and even our grab and would love to have the stagger effect of hard hitting punches like MUI goku and FSS Broly do. UI of all forms should have granted us that, but ofc they flop on that.
UI seems awkward as hell mainly because it takes and uses 5 bars of ki versus other options. Think about it for needing 5 bars of ki and using them beast gives a crazy damage boost and new combo/stamina break. PU, and the blues don't use the 5 bars of ki while god needs 3 bars of ki. The charge on UI sounds cool on paper but bad in execution because since it takes 5 bars means that you'll probably need a charge skill in the first place, and alternatively if you built up 5 ki you would rather use skills in any situation pvp or pve. If they really want to balance it just make it cost minimum 3 bars of ki maximum 4 because 5 is kinda steep considering what it gives the player
Another flaw he did not mention was the lack of any TPs (Teleports): No basic attack teleports, No charged heavy teleports, and No Super attack Fully charged beam teleports; like Kamehameha. Combined with the lack of speed buffs it really makes the form lukewarm at best. I thought the whole point of UI was being so fast with your strikes not even you know what you're doing, Really feels like we got cheated on this one. Balance be dammed
Honestly the counter is likely intended to be used as a combo breaker. You can literally interrupt normal strings and knock your opponent back. This could be good if you're low on stamina and don't want to break yourself by auto-dodging.
I feel like they can give it one when you get under like 50 or 25% health but at the same time, it just gives you more room to combine your super souls and your extra skill points to make your damage and base form

I don't think the lack of a damage buff matters too much in pvp since games end with a stamina break usually and if you cant get 26k damage out of a stamina break, that's a player issue. The "bonus skills" aren't amazing, but they're free, so there will be niche applications for them, but they're nothing to build around. Imo the best thing about the auto dodge is that encourages your opponent to use ki in neutral situations, which can be easily punished. I think new players and ki cancelers are going to end up hating it, but people that really master the nuances are going to be match-up nightmares.
The form is more of a reinforcement/utility awoken. It’s definitely more defense centric. But just like Beast, the animation for the transformation is very long and is easy to punish. You just have to wait for the first half of the sequence to complete. After the aura spark and their ki is spent, they no longer have the counter effect and it pretty much functions as a normal awoken skill with super armor. You can just aura burst dash to break their guard, or perfect block the aura spark and use a charge heavy. Unlike Beast, you don’t even retain the form after being broken. And if you’re running more than 10 bars of stamina, that’s game over.
Man fax I got stamina broken so many times it’s kinda useless in pvp also because if you try to use it as a counter it’s not instant so u can get hit out of it. Also long knockbacks don’t even work u can just dash towards them and boom Stam broken game over. Was gonna be my main transformation but that ruined it unfortunately 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️very frustrating
It is viable it will almost make basic attacks obsolete making your opponent have to resort to supers making them more predictable also with the ability to charge have a extra evasive option and a super attack you get to extra slots for supers mix this wit a auto stamina Regen buff and you have a very real threat
I can understand everybody's want for a state increase, but they keep it kool, an chroniclewith the show. UI isn't technically a trinformation similar to SS4. In US case it's a state of mind and being.
I like the form simply cus it focuses on defense but they shoulda gave us a speed boost or a speed combo input kinda like how they added a new combo to the beast transformation
Personally pvp wise I'll be choosing ssb or ssg over mui because of the lack of stat boost,overall I think it's finally cool to have this awoken skill I just wished at the very least it would have the same stat increase as potential unleashed imo
Beast got a buff. Same stats so far as I can tell, but transformation is much quicker now. ✌️ The free charge move is cool, but kinda pointless. It doesn't proc any charge Super Souls like HAAAA! It also is kinda redundant as you need a charge in order to get the ki to transform in the first place, and if you have ultimate charge, it does the same thing AND procs the HAAAA! super soul, thus giving it a speed boost.
The time it takes to transform is a bit long but the auto counter while your transforming automatically makes it better than Beast for PvP. Not sure how I feel about the counter always being available afterwards though. Another Ki Charge is always appreciated.
UI is ok I just wish it had some stat buffs I'm currently using it on my CAC but I'm thinking of going back to SSBE only cause there is nothing really that makes it good in PVP
It makes sense honestly, ultra instinct was about avoidance and def iirc, and i may be wrong. But they may be saving a boost in stats for UE, at the cost of life loss fornpower trade? Pure speculation though ive yet to dp anything with it.
So I was thinking about sitting on this information but the charged ki blast effect of ui is applied to z souls. Meaning, you can equip “don’t go all out” and take two bars of stamina from your spirit pulse. You could also use any of the z souls that poison your charged ki blast or boost its damage
From the looks of it, UI is focused on skill, not a power boost. With the new charge (although slow), you can replace your usual charge super skill with something else. The ki blast altered becomes a great knockback or snipe. The counters when timed right, scales with basic attack and certainly offers nearly unavoidable damage to opponent. Mmm... So long story short, UI is focused on skill, not brute strength.
To be honest im not complaining I understand they dont want the transformation to be to broken but main reason im not complaining is because its 2 transformations in one ui sign into mastered ui

Just a heads up with the counter of this awoken skill. I was running some PQ's and was getting ganged up on. The person I was targeted was far away and when I execute the counter, My character appeared behind the person I targeted far away. I believe there was a confused look on the enemy before the animation started to hit them. Hopefully you get to see this.
I'm undecided if it's better to toss a super soul on for damage or a ki / stamina support super soul for maximizing the UI features. I'll also have to try out a zoning build on it with moves like Genocide Shell and Energy Minefield.
A LOT OF THE ABILITIES OF UI RELY ON NORMAL ATTACK LEVEL UP STATS BUT NOT FROM NORMAL ATTACK REINFORCEMENT UNLESS ALL ABILITY BOOST. Also if you have something that seals block the surging spirit charge still works if both of the buttons are pressed at the same time. Also the dodge seems to give you a small window to counter with light attacks when an enemy attacks you but the timing is hard to get down.
Fun fact (if this has been mentioned in the video forgive me) that start up animation before you transform can also dodge and do the counterattack giving you your transformation
I wanna point out that when me and my friends were having a few fights with UI, we found that if you time it right, you can break your opponents stamina

We might need a video about what to do with these new attribute points. With the extra points that allows you to make up for weaknesses your character has so this could be really good.
Reduce stamina cost dodging basic ki blasts, (half a bar or quarter) buff to movement speed, increase all damage by (S or M) amount, able to ki cancel using souring fist, increase counter cost by one more bar, increase range and a tiny damage buff to spirit pulse. Similar to Ssj God awoken and its damage cues. Ui gives combo animations increased speed if button is timed correctly similar to ssj gods melee damage boosts.
Scariest basic attack build saijan male 200 on Basic Attack QQ Bang that boosts basic attack Radditz Super Soul that boosts basic attack when you grab the enemy take mr satan or videl 2times give them both the Hercule Hercule Super Soul it will boost your attack by 10% and Super put Saijan God on top of that and yeah Saitama Build but its only good in pve
Ultra Instinct is nice and all but I feel like it should have more of a OOMPF to it. Like hit harder all around. If they added at least potential unleased percentages to UI, i would probably use it over Beast buuuuut unfortunately they didn't. I'll be sticking with Beast even though it's a glass cannon lol
It's bottom of the bucket in terms of viability for pvp right now, and not amazing for pve either. Blue evolved is still king. That being said, I think this awoken would be really viable if they added a flat 5% damage increase, a huge speed increase reminiscent of Dyspo's awoken, an increase of max ki while transformed, possibly rivaling meditation, and a huge increase in ki generation, rivaling divinity unleashed. That would make this form all about speed and ki generation which I think would make it very unique and much more fun to play. The ki increase and generation is a bit of a wild idea, but this is the same update where they added a 900% damage increase item to the game in the form of the Zeno button, so who cares.
I feel this would be good for combo/melee fighters. It LOOKS cool, but as SOON as you turn on UI, theyre comin for you to stamina break you. Thats worse than Beast. Only Kaioken has the worry of losing the transformation. It makes you change how you play definitely. Youll want to make a KILLER BASE fighter. Then UI will just be a luxury. Youll be relying on your supersoul to carry your offensive power. or maybe some power ups or something. I tried Using UI, Turles Supersoul, which gives XL to everything as long as you use a reinforcement. So I used Divinity Unleashed as the reinforcement. Not as strong as the SSB/SSBE builds. Also, no stamina assistance, like the Gogeta SS. I'm not skilled enough for it, but im sure others can dominate with something like that. LOOKS cool tho. You could put it on your PVE build, but you normally want that "Cast everything aside.." Supersoul for damage, along with Beast, SSBE, ect...

I don’t really know if the awoken skill really needs a stamina super soul because if you have your stamina maxed in the attributes menu and know how to manage it then stamina shouldn’t be much of an issue
OK after testing...
-UI requires and consumes 5 bars of Ki to activate.
-It's does not change any of your damage output, defense (damage reduction), or speed or Ki recovery or stamina recovery.
-It grants auto-dodge at the cost of 1 stamina bar per dodge.
-After a dodge press "A" to perform a counter attack that is undodgable for 3000 damage accross the board for all builds. Cost is one Ki bar. (1 stamina bar to dodge the a Ki bar to counter)
-Your basic Ki blast are now weaker versions of Soaring Fist doing roughly a quarter of the Strike Skills damage.
-Your charged Ki blasts are now a weaker version of Spirit Pulse doing roughly half the damage of the Strike Skills.
-Holding block and pressing "Y" will activat s
Surging Spirit. (You do not need a charge skill in your load out to use this)
-The start up animation takes roughly 5.5 seconds.
-You return to base form if your stamina is broken
-If your get attacked in the middle of the start up animation you auto counter attack with a special undodgable attack.
This is a purely defense and counter attack based form with no real damage increase whatsoever.

The counter requires 2 bars of Ki, not 1. I thought it was 1 bar of Ki, but I soon found out it takes 2 bars. So it takes 1 bar of stamina and 2 bars of Ki for a counter attack that you can’t follow up with and punishable if the opponent turns around fast enough? Ehhh…not really worth it

Now that I think about it, kinda wish at minimum, strike and ki ultimates could've been boosted if nothing else stat wise for now in the event they add buffs later like they did for other awokens
Still grateful for them even giving us this transformation and for free as well as it being so easily accessible. Changes can still come in the next dlc/next gen version.

@@williamthomas4769 as I was playing and messing around with how it looks with different ults, I thought about Goku when he hit that last Kamehameha on jiren while in UI. Jiren had accepted defeat at that point until goku's body gave out. Then you can look back to before that when goku drops kefla out and how powerful that Kamehameha looked. Just a thought.

I love this awoken and honestly I don't even mind that it doesn't give a boost to stats. Although I do wish they buffed beast and take away that damage debuff and lower the damage you do to be slightly less than ssgss in exchange.
Since ssgss or ssb does 25% the beast transformation should maybe be 20%.

@@shawnodea5129Beast is in between SSB and SSBE. SSB is 25% with defense, Beast is 30% with negative defense, and SSBE is 35% with the extra defense above SSB. Beast drains 5 bars to use, has negative defense, and has an absurdly long animation. Not to mention, SSBE got buffed and now has the original SSB Ki drain, making it viable to stack with another move for ki recovery and slapping a SS like Toppo's on to give you 70% ACROSS THE BOARD in stats. There is no balance in this game if you're smart enough. Beast could be lowered to SSB levels but honestly it's stronger than the form and should just have base defense.

To be honest I feel like UI is a awoken that is useful for drawing aggro. I can imagine using this to help others by drawing enemies to me while others damage them. And just be dodging and weaving and countering. Especially when you can equip more moves to help in raids. At least for drawing aggro. But I like to screw around when I got enough damage to the raid boss. And just take more damage and aggro.
With the free ability slot thanks to the built in spirit surge you can just run a buff technique or something like that

Data input stacked with ui allows you to dodge everything but ki blast supers and ults & eliminates the stamina drain you get from dodging with ui for 30secs, stack that with auto dodge limit burst makes you invincible for 30secs

I did. One has no stamina cost and restores ki. The other one lets you counter. Divinity unleashed works even better. It literally restores more ki on the counter than it cost.

A slight speed buff and more importantly a basic attack buff should of been implemented. We clearly saw Goku go from barely doing damage in Blue Kaioken on Jiren to serving straight lethal combos in UI.

I can see why they didn't give it a damage boost. But this can be worked around with certain super souls and such. Though I see it as a more counter offensive awoken skill, rewarding more patience rather than ki cancel.

Dude SAME. I'm sick of seeing that damn stance on every form. It's one thing for Blue, God, and Blue Evolution since Goku and Vegeta keep their normal stance in those forms, but UI Goku has a different stance. So in my mind at least, that should also apply to our CACs as well, especially since, as you said, that's how it is for SS3 and Beast.

@@Duckywest412 They recover immediately from the kick instead of getting knocked away, they still take the damage but it leaves you open to getting attacked as you have to wait for your animation to end before you can move.
In some circumstances, The enemy you counter can ignore it and they can hit or grab you while your kicking them.
Not sure if its a common thing but it seems to happen once in a while.

I appreciate that it swaps out a stat boost for some convenience like the charge and the counter. I would’ve given it a less punishable transformation animation though. More similar in speed to Blue Evolution.

I actually enjoy the transformation and what it offers, but idk why it's the mastered version and not the omen version. It seems like that's how it preforms. Mastered UI is immensely strong, we should have gotten a small buff somewhere.
I think it would he cool if upon landing a successful counter with the ultra instinct you get a temporary damage boost for all attacks like 15 seconds or more.

I feel like the no stat buffs can easily be negated by using the BEAST supersoul. And to top it off, the new caps on attribute means it can get a lil extra push if need be. Overall pretty pvp viable for defensive playstyles and most importantly having fun.
I think I still prefer beast and SSG over mui, the beast aura is superior and you have a different stance with it plus the additional stats that come with them are pretty good.
They dropped the ball on this, we been waiting for this just for it to be underwhelming.
I can't say it's a good or bad transformation. I'd say it's...decent.
The auto dodge is a great feature at first sight, but you really need to take care of your stamina more than before and the timing to do a counter takes some practice to get the timing right (especially if you plan to use the form in PvP, which suffers from a notoriously bad netcode). Unfortunately, the counter does barely any damage despite taking two ki bars. If it's going to cost me that much, the damage needs to be higher. Otherwise, it should only cost 1 ki bar. A personal gripe: the look of the counter is severely underwhelming, so that's another negative; and I say that having seen Unleashed's Celestial Whirlwind skill from one of his Random Skill Packs, so I expected something to that degree.
The change in ki blasts is a nice touch, but I'd prefer if you could hold the ki blast button to do up to three Soaring Fists. It would be less damage than the super attack version to balance it out. I don't like ki canceling or ki stunning, so not being able to do that doesn't bother me.
Having no stat increases at all is underwhelming. I'd be fine with a 5% increase to attacks across the board or a 10% increase at the cost of taking 5% more damage. Attack aside, what really gets me is there's no increase to speed either. Ultra Instinct is shown to have godlike speed, yet there's no increase to our CaC's movement speed. It's like Dimps were so concerned or scared about balance that they just did nothing and called it a day.
The transformation overall makes me feel like I'm fighting in base form but with some extra features. Those extra features are nice to have, and seeing the built-in ki charge that I see in mods now become an official thing is a solid plus, but those features leave a lot to be desired. Side note on the ki charge: it's not affected by super souls that give benefits from using a ki charge skill (e.g., "HAAAAA!") since, well...the ki charge isn't a skill, but rather an input; I don't know if that bit was intentional or Dimps overlooked that. Ultra Instinct is _okay_ but it needs a few buffs here and there. If the other transformations have to get buffed in response, that's fine. I know I'd like Potential Unleashed to get buffed.

My main complaint is that it was too easy to unlock. I understand they’re trying to get people excited to play, but as someone whose played since XV1, I was disappointed, especially after all of the previous free update awoken skills. I don’t even think there was a level req. The beast quest with cell max was pretty cool.
I think with the stat cap increase, UI is viable. I’ve already encountered someone with 15 bars of stamina using UI who knew how to perfect block every hit, and it was the least fair match I’ve ever had. My main is lvl 107 with 0H 42K 42S 180(ish)BA 60SS 60KS. Honestly, I think having max stamina might be the new meta.
I lowkey think it ups your speed a little and staimania regen but to be honest it kinda sucks. People are going to use it like ss3 just for style affect. Got to use a super soul to bring out big damage. At least giant and kid buu boost your attack power this is just some to play around with proably be lowkey op on a human or frost demon race tho.
Ultra Instinct is pretty good on Frieza race CaC with their built in stamina regen in combat since it doesn't stop during combos, the Awoken can use a bit of help though. Maybe a Speed buff but im glad they didn't go overboard with the transformation so they can tweak it later.
I see it as more of a utility transformation. You are really only using it for the auto dodging. Makes sense since it's more of a technique rather than a full on transformation.

My only complaints are once again UI is now another transformation that SHOULD have the ability change your fighting style completely while in that form and it doesn't, your stance doesn't change which is like the least they could have done and why in the fuck are we not stronger in that form??? Half great half ass to me. It's really cool and I'm looking forward to trying it myself but really wish and hope those things had something put in to them.
It does change your ki to only 1 soaring fist and charged ki is spirit pulse, and when in guard you got a ultimate charge alternative

I wanna see something different while in that form for combos, back hit and even our grab and would love to have the stagger effect of hard hitting punches like MUI goku and FSS Broly do. UI of all forms should have granted us that, but ofc they flop on that.

UI seems awkward as hell mainly because it takes and uses 5 bars of ki versus other options. Think about it for needing 5 bars of ki and using them beast gives a crazy damage boost and new combo/stamina break. PU, and the blues don't use the 5 bars of ki while god needs 3 bars of ki. The charge on UI sounds cool on paper but bad in execution because since it takes 5 bars means that you'll probably need a charge skill in the first place, and alternatively if you built up 5 ki you would rather use skills in any situation pvp or pve. If they really want to balance it just make it cost minimum 3 bars of ki maximum 4 because 5 is kinda steep considering what it gives the player
Another flaw he did not mention was the lack of any TPs (Teleports): No basic attack teleports, No charged heavy teleports, and No Super attack Fully charged beam teleports; like Kamehameha. Combined with the lack of speed buffs it really makes the form lukewarm at best. I thought the whole point of UI was being so fast with your strikes not even you know what you're doing, Really feels like we got cheated on this one. Balance be dammed
Honestly the counter is likely intended to be used as a combo breaker. You can literally interrupt normal strings and knock your opponent back. This could be good if you're low on stamina and don't want to break yourself by auto-dodging.
I feel like they can give it one when you get under like 50 or 25% health but at the same time, it just gives you more room to combine your super souls and your extra skill points to make your damage and base form

I don't think the lack of a damage buff matters too much in pvp since games end with a stamina break usually and if you cant get 26k damage out of a stamina break, that's a player issue. The "bonus skills" aren't amazing, but they're free, so there will be niche applications for them, but they're nothing to build around.
Imo the best thing about the auto dodge is that encourages your opponent to use ki in neutral situations, which can be easily punished. I think new players and ki cancelers are going to end up hating it, but people that really master the nuances are going to be match-up nightmares.
The form is more of a reinforcement/utility awoken. It’s definitely more defense centric. But just like Beast, the animation for the transformation is very long and is easy to punish. You just have to wait for the first half of the sequence to complete. After the aura spark and their ki is spent, they no longer have the counter effect and it pretty much functions as a normal awoken skill with super armor. You can just aura burst dash to break their guard, or perfect block the aura spark and use a charge heavy. Unlike Beast, you don’t even retain the form after being broken. And if you’re running more than 10 bars of stamina, that’s game over.
Man fax I got stamina broken so many times it’s kinda useless in pvp also because if you try to use it as a counter it’s not instant so u can get hit out of it. Also long knockbacks don’t even work u can just dash towards them and boom Stam broken game over. Was gonna be my main transformation but that ruined it unfortunately 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️very frustrating

The free charge move is cool, but kinda pointless. It doesn't proc any charge Super Souls like HAAAA! It also is kinda redundant as you need a charge in order to get the ki to transform in the first place, and if you have ultimate charge, it does the same thing AND procs the HAAAA! super soul, thus giving it a speed boost.
The time it takes to transform is a bit long but the auto counter while your transforming automatically makes it better than Beast for PvP. Not sure how I feel about the counter always being available afterwards though. Another Ki Charge is always appreciated.
UI is ok I just wish it had some stat buffs I'm currently using it on my CAC but I'm thinking of going back to SSBE only cause there is nothing really that makes it good in PVP

So I was thinking about sitting on this information but the charged ki blast effect of ui is applied to z souls. Meaning, you can equip “don’t go all out” and take two bars of stamina from your spirit pulse. You could also use any of the z souls that poison your charged ki blast or boost its damage

From the looks of it, UI is focused on skill, not a power boost. With the new charge (although slow), you can replace your usual charge super skill with something else. The ki blast altered becomes a great knockback or snipe. The counters when timed right, scales with basic attack and certainly offers nearly unavoidable damage to opponent. Mmm... So long story short, UI is focused on skill, not brute strength.
To be honest im not complaining I understand they dont want the transformation to be to broken but main reason im not complaining is because its 2 transformations in one ui sign into mastered ui

Just a heads up with the counter of this awoken skill. I was running some PQ's and was getting ganged up on. The person I was targeted was far away and when I execute the counter, My character appeared behind the person I targeted far away. I believe there was a confused look on the enemy before the animation started to hit them. Hopefully you get to see this.

This awoken isn’t good or bad. It’s literally the definition of mid. You don’t have any stat increases and you no longer can Ki cancel in this move.

I'm undecided if it's better to toss a super soul on for damage or a ki / stamina support super soul for maximizing the UI features. I'll also have to try out a zoning build on it with moves like Genocide Shell and Energy Minefield.
A LOT OF THE ABILITIES OF UI RELY ON NORMAL ATTACK LEVEL UP STATS BUT NOT FROM NORMAL ATTACK REINFORCEMENT UNLESS ALL ABILITY BOOST. Also if you have something that seals block the surging spirit charge still works if both of the buttons are pressed at the same time. Also the dodge seems to give you a small window to counter with light attacks when an enemy attacks you but the timing is hard to get down.
Fun fact (if this has been mentioned in the video forgive me) that start up animation before you transform can also dodge and do the counterattack giving you your transformation
I wanna point out that when me and my friends were having a few fights with UI, we found that if you time it right, you can break your opponents stamina

We might need a video about what to do with these new attribute points. With the extra points that allows you to make up for weaknesses your character has so this could be really good.

Reduce stamina cost dodging basic ki blasts, (half a bar or quarter) buff to movement speed, increase all damage by (S or M) amount, able to ki cancel using souring fist, increase counter cost by one more bar, increase range and a tiny damage buff to spirit pulse. Similar to Ssj God awoken and its damage cues. Ui gives combo animations increased speed if button is timed correctly similar to ssj gods melee damage boosts.
Scariest basic attack build saijan male 200 on Basic Attack QQ Bang that boosts basic attack Radditz Super Soul that boosts basic attack when you grab the enemy take mr satan or videl 2times give them both the Hercule Hercule Super Soul it will boost your attack by 10% and Super put Saijan God on top of that and yeah Saitama Build but its only good in pve

Ultra Instinct is nice and all but I feel like it should have more of a OOMPF to it. Like hit harder all around. If they added at least potential unleased percentages to UI, i would probably use it over Beast buuuuut unfortunately they didn't. I'll be sticking with Beast even though it's a glass cannon lol
Use SSBE over Beast. Does better damage overall and doesn’t have as big as a received damage penalty.

It's bottom of the bucket in terms of viability for pvp right now, and not amazing for pve either. Blue evolved is still king.
That being said, I think this awoken would be really viable if they added a flat 5% damage increase, a huge speed increase reminiscent of Dyspo's awoken, an increase of max ki while transformed, possibly rivaling meditation, and a huge increase in ki generation, rivaling divinity unleashed.
That would make this form all about speed and ki generation which I think would make it very unique and much more fun to play.
The ki increase and generation is a bit of a wild idea, but this is the same update where they added a 900% damage increase item to the game in the form of the Zeno button, so who cares.

I feel this would be good for combo/melee fighters. It LOOKS cool, but as SOON as you turn on UI, theyre comin for you to stamina break you. Thats worse than Beast. Only Kaioken has the worry of losing the transformation. It makes you change how you play definitely. Youll want to make a KILLER BASE fighter. Then UI will just be a luxury. Youll be relying on your supersoul to carry your offensive power. or maybe some power ups or something. I tried Using UI, Turles Supersoul, which gives XL to everything as long as you use a reinforcement. So I used Divinity Unleashed as the reinforcement. Not as strong as the SSB/SSBE builds. Also, no stamina assistance, like the Gogeta SS. I'm not skilled enough for it, but im sure others can dominate with something like that. LOOKS cool tho. You could put it on your PVE build, but you normally want that "Cast everything aside.." Supersoul for damage, along with Beast, SSBE, ect...
