Cheap & Safe Cities in Texas

Texas has become a very trendy place to move to, but many of the cities and towns in the state are full of crime and cost an arm and a leg. Add in a recent dose of inflation, and people are starting to search for places where the cost of living is much lower, but safety is also important. In this video, we're uncovering five communities in the Lonestar State where there is a low crime rate and a low cost of living.

I live in Seminole. It's a great community; so friendly and as this video indicates, safe. We actually have quite a bit for a town this size, although our Walmart is tiny. There are plenty of restaurants and cute little mom and pop shops. We'd love to have you visit!

There are many desirable places in Texas and most of these are not. Texas is safe because most Texans are armed so if you’re thinking of committing a crime you probably will get shot. However, my state is being overrun with an influx from California. They rarely give up their bad habits.

Don't forget Oglesby, TX. Population 957 and one grouch. We watch the grass grow. We are on HWY 84. We have to go to Gatesville or McGregor to do any shopping or eat out. 🥴

This is a video on cheap and SAFE communities in Texas. Lubbock isn't safe. Not by a long shot. The violent crime rate is 174% higher than the national average, and they reported 26 murders.
