- Is the countryside racist?
BBC Countryfile has sparked a debate on racism with a story suggesting people from the BAME community feel unwelcome in the countryside.
Last night, the BBC broadcast a story by Dwayne Fields in which he investigated a report by Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The report focused on how people from the BAME community felt the UK's national parks were very much a "white environment".
Calvin Robinson, campaigner for Defund The BBC says "it makes no sense whatsoever... it's very much in line with what the PC brigade at the BBC are pushing these days with their agenda".
He added "they're trying to appeal to the woke progressives who are saying that racism is everywhere. Racism isn't everywhere".
Conservative MP Bill Wiggin also added "I'm horrified to hear they are doing something as politically affiliated as this... this sort of nonsense is really unhelpful".
Wake up Britain, BBC must go!

The Tory Party must stop the mandatory BBC license fee. I do NOT want to pay for their propaganda anymore.
I got rid of my TV and cancelled my TV licence years ago - completely legal and legitimate. Be a man and cancel it online today. There's plenty to watch on the internet. You'll feel like you're standing up for yourself and telling them what you think about their propaganda - it feels so good!
It's such a cosy little club for the chosen few. 700k a year for Jeremy Vine, I ask you! Close it down and make the self-entitled pigs earn their dough in the commercial sector, if anyone is prepared to pay these "stars" a bean, which I doubt.
It's not mandatory, just cancel it already, don't wait for big brother to live your life for you.

You reap what you sow.
In my experience, black people aren't hugely interested in country pursuits anyway. How many black farmers do you see in the UK? Or conservationists, Or ramblers, Or in field sports. Or wild camping. Or green-laning on trials bikes? Countryfile conspicuously levers black presenters into the programme as a diversity statement. I would strongly argue that they don't feel any afinity with it. It's obviously not really their thing, but it's a job.

The BBC are good at SPIN.
Watching the program about Devon and Cornwall on Ch4 tonight made me realise why the countryside is predominantly “white” It is because of tradition and passion, handed down through generations. Be it farming, breeding or management it is mainly the Caucasian that has been at the centre of the countryside for centuries.
There is nothing to stop any person being involved in this tradition if that is their desire and longing. Why it has to be brought up as an issue is something I cannot understand. As people are saying, they are looking for something that isn’t there
Simon said everything that I have been thinking and saying for the last year BLM is not representative of me
