I find it so crazy how characters who are known for speed and agility, like Canary and Catwoman, do TONS AND TONS of damage, while actual powerhouses like Wonder Woman and Supergirl only do slightly more than a tickle.

Yes, a video game based on DC characters. So you' d think an extremely skilled but fairly unpowered martial artist like Black Canary would have longer and more elaborate combos but wouldn't do as much damage per hit as someone like Supergirl, who literally has the power to destroy planets but isn't as well trained in fighting.

My biggest issue with this game is blocking especially "cross ups" where my block isn't switching when I'm jumped over
Master Z I hate the blocking system, I can't believe you have to move backwards to block, I get confused when I'm blocking low, and then I try to block up by moving forward
@@aidenmuv8590 mk is ONLY fighting game (of those i know) that has a block bottom. Do not forget that

Canary here is like Cassie Cage in MKX. Seems soft and pretty but once she's broken that distance and got you in a corner you're done

I highly suggest trying
Meter Burn Knee Slam, and when you go in the air after you do Knee Slam, follow up with a Meter Burn Canary Drop, and you then can do the "arena transition" combo and then a Max level Canary Cry. It does serious damage

that's something the game misses like a put the combos on the screen that you're attempting then showing where you went wrong. Some games have that.
Look at your hands while you play, now try putting this onto a tiny corner of the screen. Now add motion blur from a crappy camera and consider how fast his fingers are moving. There really isn't much to see in all honesty.

@Crazyhorse3022 Honestly, i don't think a handcam would help you. If you're looking for tips to improve your game, then seeing someone else's handwork will only show you the highbar. Speed and execution skills just takes hard time and practice. No other shortcuts to it. Just keep at it man and your hand work on joystick or pad eventually develops

Bradley Miranda I suggest you play single-player a lot and get general knowledge of what to do with them in battle. That's how I learned my first character.

Well keep in mind super being able to learn a character so well stems from him playing mkx. Since a lot of fundamentals carry over (like for instance what neutral is, immediately understanding what frame data and + - on block means) that adds on to why he is very good at the game.

Mackenzie Brown-Johnston I don't think he's good at command grab rushdown characters. Bane takes a lot of work to be competitive with.

Super you gotta stop flipping after canary cry bro. All you gotta do it dash forward twice. I've even accidentally dashed three times before and still had time to do my 1, 1, 2 special cancel follow ups. I main her and anywhere on the map this works I promise. You get close enough to follow up with virtually anything.
And also a nice corner combo:
2, ^3 (delay), 2, ^3 (delay), 1 (delay), 1 (delay), 1 (delay), 1, 1, 2, < >+2 (enhanced), 2 (air), 1, 1, 2, < >+2.
Jab he does the flip to get in close then does F13 because it’s forward advancing and it still hits the opponent when they’re stunned from canary cry then he does his corner combo
