    Flipping and "making lots of money fast" are two things that, in my experience, do not generally go together. They always take three times as long as you expected, and you always wind up spending more than expected. And if you aren't careful with your budget, you may wind up having to sell at not much more than breakeven.

    thank you for the excellent content. why does an HMO investment have a tradeoff with a lower increase in property value? isn't it a property like any other property in the street? why would the HMO property value no increase along with other property that is not being used as HMO?

      Shmulik Ben Nissan a Hmo is a unique property that will almost certainly have been chopped about and bathrooms added that will only suit future investors rather than families so I can see how the value will not increase to the same degree as another” normal “ house in the same street. A family would need to spend money bringing it back to a more traditional layout so therefore the price may reflect this.
