From my experience, the total number of Ultimate reactors drop has increased. I seem to get double the amount of reactors than before. Which means the two systems don’t compete with each other
This is a great map, good job. The loot pools for reactors and components are way too diluted right now. Stats like 'ecive display' on components or 'HP heal' on reactors need to be removed. I farmed Pyro for two straight hours yesterday, using Freyna's new builds, each kill was less than 9sec. Out of the estimated 400 Slayer components that dropped, I probably kept 2, and they weren't even what I was looking for. I counted at least 20 processors in a row, in my inventory, that were the exact same with some bs out of combat combined with ecive display, all in purple or lower. What's really crazy is that every double gold that dropped had ecive display, kuiper increase, firearm efficiency paired up with an actually useful stat. This is just nonsense. And with Slayer being the only end game viable set (if you haven't beaten Gluttony or Death Stalker), farming is just a chore. And the reactor pool is just as diluted with the new system that is in place. Nearly half of the reactors that you normally get from the targeted pool, are now a part of the permanent location pool, therefore making farming even more of a painful experience.
They need to get mismatched ability types out of the reactor RNG pool. I know they can't give us everything the playerbase wants, but it makes no sense for 'finding a right reactor' to take longer than leveling a character or weapon to 40 10 times, even pre-400% patch. 90% of the reactors we farm aren't even for the ability types we are farming, that makes no sense. As it stands we could easily farm a spot for 10 hours straight and not get what we want, and have nothing to show for it. I've given up trying to get perfect reactors due to this, not willing to waste my time with zero forward progress. MR 23, have almost every meta build fully completed. I can appreciate RNG, but can't get behind the current soul crushing reactor/component farming system
