Will I ever find happiness..? I find myself asking this question all the time... Will I ever experience the feeling of pure happiness and be proud of the person staring back at me in the mirror..?

And go to any lengths to be comfortable in my own skin. My advice to you is just show people how strong you are and it is okay to go through hard times. It is a part of being a human. This can be one of those growth experiences. Be proud of who you are :)

I can feel your pain. Transition is not an easy thing to do, and the world is full of ignorant people, and people are specially ignorant on transsexuality. I've had my ups and downs, and that is the thing, life is always going in circles, but now that I am older I've started to see that everything I've been trough has made me the person i am and to transition has made me grow the most of everything. To make the decision to do something that is still considered a taboo to show the world who I am.

Have you changed your name yet? They shouldn't question you if your ID if your name says Gauge and your picture matches... even if your ID says F.
My ID still says female and I had my name changed. I have no problems.
