Sometimes businesses lay off the most recent hires and it has nothing to do with your work or ethic. When they have to remove a lot of people they can't save all the good ones.
Its heart breaking but I'm sure you folks learned a lot / gained valuable experience working in industry. Maybe some of you can group up with some of your peers, form your own indie groups and work on your own projects.
Bravo USA keep up the good work
I'm glad they get rid of bad workers
Layoffs? Coming soon to a neighborhood near you!
They certainly are. MAny don't see what is happening now.
Good, they completely butchered Overwatch 2 and gave their customer false promises. Now they lost billions of dollars because of it.
That woman is absolutely stunning
7.5 by Cali standards
We have a lot of reasons to doubt about the unemployment rate if you look closely at current hi-tech job market in US.
hi tech workers are drop in the bucket.
Just becaue all republicans and MAGA are crooks, doesn't mean the rest of us are.
I guess they could always learn to code. Oh wait..
Meanwhile Microsoft Stocks are going to the Moon 🌕 😂 🚀
Xbox is intent on destroying itself between massive required downloads and security. It's nearly impossible to just turn the machine on, load a disc, and play offline.
As previously in history , some of these ex employees will create the startups that will make the big guys irrelevant so it’ll work out in the end .
How will these big guys be irrelevant when they have more money muscle?
NEVER SMART TO FIRE YOUR TALENT LOL
@@joybandopadhyay2557 i was laughing at what he wrote ...i just shake my head
Expecting the future to resemble the past? Is not a wise idea. Technology convergences have been responsible for the creation and eventual collapse of every social/economic/political system we have created in history. It goes all the way back to Uruk. The convergence of AI and automated platforms is unlike anything we have seen in the past. Its no longer just physical labor being replaced by machines, its cognitive labor as well. Machines that can understand their environment and react to it autonomously are a LOT different from the old blind one armed monsters in factories today.
@@devon9374Lazy quiet quitters are being laid off, top talent is getting raises and bonuses😂
That's a start. They should have all been from Activision. Exclusively those in charge of Call of Duty.
where are all the LEARN TO CODE people now?????
Coding is still in demand just not in the popular fun stuff. Lots of boring enterprise, government, healthcare, oil gas still need programming
The interesting thing about most of these layoffs is they all massively hired just to impress VC’s banks, Wall Street and to be able to virtue signal. But as the money dried up the first to go are largely people of color who were hired as virtue signal props rather than on skill levels. LA times laid off a large percentage of their brown, black and Asian employees (granted they were the newest hires) but even their communist loving first daughter Nika Soon Shien who ran the paper into the ground with her ultra leftist wokeness injected into every story showed the only color she cared about was green as did the left leaning executives at Google, Meta, Microsoft, Salesforce.
I don't think CHATGPT is taking any engineer's jobs anytime soon...
CNBC knows that Microsoft isn’t in the Silicon Valley ?
The CEOs and their ilk make all the bone-headed decisions, yet they are never fired.
Dont blame the job blame the workers
AI can code and also do animations
Building Back Better!
Let's Go Brandon!
Nothing to do with AI
I told you” the economy is BOOMING 😂
Mother AI Server sends pink slips via Teams app. MS stock (already at record highs) should double soon.
How can they say TECH is going to carry the stock market for the next five years.
All companies are starting the layoffs ..we will be in a depression soon
Based on 16 Wall Street analysts offering price forecasts for UiPath Inc. (NYSE:PATH), a high estimate of $30.00, represents a potential +35% increase from the last price of $22.23.

Software technology that will make it easy to build, deploy, and manage software robots that emulate human workflow.
Wasn't this a 60 dollar stock?
Well I mean, Mw2 felt like a new generation Of gaming not a remake of the old title, because of Warzone.😮
Lots of job cuts on the way. Why didnt you guys do more to embarrass those banks that folded for over valuing all those "start ups" that went bankrupt.
Think an AI assistant can run the PC/Console Needs?
The future is a scary place
This is only the beginning.
alright time to work at walmart
MS is a 3 trillion dollar company…
Where is the free money? Print more please
These people working 50 to 70 hours a week in these companies and they just wake up and be like sorry you been let go loyalty level is at zero..
More Xbox games will come to Nintendo and Playstation.
Oh no Ai will replace people. No it will not. If many is unemployed by Ai there is no one that will have a income to buy any products that the Ai creates.
It would be very contraproductive for the people who are rich and own the companies. They are dependent on the human worker to make the money roll.
It will be kept to a minimum and only affect in a very small scale.
too little , needs more laid off and close all company in San Francisco 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Maybe ai can code an entire video game?
I was apart of these layoffs. This sucks.
I've been unemployed for 4 years, relax... (I'm a C# T-SQL programmer), it's going to get even worst.
Your chip design is stolen from me, I mean from my numbers in 2019.
This woman is the Dr Doom of news, just loves talking about people losing their jobs. Does she cover anything else?
If it bleeds...it leads.
Build back better. Lets go Brandon.
Your axe grinding has nothing to do with actual reality. TDS much?
@@danf1862 Nothing is being built. Nothing is coming back. Nothing is better. The greatest country on earth has stagnated to a halt. Hell lies at your very feet and it is about to have its way. I wish this on nobody. Take care Dan.
Damn!!
Did they fired Todd for his Starfield boring "game"?
Game Over
Lol
Lol the pandemic really hyped companies up.
A.I. can do the work of pretty much 90% of all "programmers". Sorry, but a LOT of coders are now obsolete. Obsolete in the way that cell phones made any pay phone businesses rethink their lives, LOL! #IfYouAintRichYouAintSHEET #AdaptOrDie
SHOULD WE INVEST IN THIS COMPANY'S STOCK IN THIS YEAR THEN? 😂
Year 2024 is worst year i think...wars, layoffs, inflation, unemployment...
Wars?
Maybe they can learn how to code...
Water cup is half full or half empty story.
