I absolutely love and can totally relate to, the cracks in your voice from the excitement when you talk about the new Frontosas! all the best with the new breeding group!
Hi Richelle. How are you? It's good to see you. First of All, I woukld love to start by saying; #CONGRATULATIONS #ON #REACHING #TEN #THOUSAND #FRIENDS, #YOU #DESERVE IT, #YOU #ARE #AN #AWESOME #FISH #KEEPER! Waow that is AWESOME! They are absolutely GORGEOUS! They will produce lots and lots of gorgeous Frontosa Fry! I AM SUPER HAPPY FOR YOU! :)
Congratulations on reaching 10,000 . I just found your channel and I am learning so much from you before I start my cichlids tank ,thank you for doing the videos. I wish your shop was close enough for me to order from. Keep it up!!!!
You were my first client after I uploaded my first video 🥰 I couldn't believe it worked so fast. Your first visit really encouraged me to continue making these videos. Thank you
@@QuebecCichlides You are a great person and run a wonderful shop! I'm glad to have gotten to know you. With the increase in minimum wage over hear sadly there is less business (my clients are small businesses and they are struggling) and less need for fish. I would love to come by but there are fewer new setups and my breeding can keep up with it. Everything I've gotten off of you are doing great. Thanks for putting up with me
Hi Richelle, congratulations 🎈 on the 10K subs and the beautiful looking wc Frontosa. I believe I started watching your channel when you were at around 2,500 subs and I have really enjoyed watching you grow and make your channel an entertaining and informative channel to watch. Thanks very much for sharing and I look forward to to seeing you get the Silver Play Button at 100K.
This video series is great because it allows international viewers to see that Quebecois women are the most beautiful in the world. The channel has excellent content as well.
Love your shows, your accent and you; so I subscribed (not to sound creepy). I'm a monitor lizard keeper that has now crossed over to cichlids but I am limited to smalll species like mbuna or apistogrammas even though my favorites are the large central and south americans.
Just acquired 4- 6 striped of these beautiful beasts and they are now my centerpiece fish. I am keeping them in a 55 gallon but I want to build an indoor 200 gallon pond with a viewing window. I subbed for all the 411 on these guys. Thanks😊
I had couple different groups of frontosa 20-30 years ago I used to sell them as fast as I Could grow them .and then people started going with smaller cichlids peacocks and couldn't hardly sell any...before ebay haha
I can get excited as well for Zaire blues! I have a 300g dd marine land just waiting for a colony. However, yours look great as far as lines clean & pronounced. But, they are lacking serious color for blue Zaire's. Yes, the quality of water & habitat that's new has an effect. But, I simply expected a deeper blue where there is just a lighter color. My actual issue is u say you lost your last big male due to power outage. That's my beef. Tell me u have a battery back up or aeration generator to come on in such an event. All to often I buy large saltwater setups because the owner lost all his live coral & fish to a power outage which in Florida is quite possible in hurricane season. U know u have to do whatever is necessary to maintain a colony that's given u years of returns & although I'm not wanting to play the grim reaper part if breaks my heart as well when we both know it could of been prevented. I've long since closed my retail exotic pet shop & nothing eats @ a true lover of animals heart most of all when a loss could of been prevented. I am acutely aware of the close bonds of this giant sweet heart & how u can become personally attached & they do suffer when air is deprived. It seems that owners will spend thousands of $$$ on live product but then not do one thing to protect them in case of a simple power failure. I imported to Florida through a Michigan supplier back in the 90's when u were born some of the very first FO wild caught cichlid in colonies of 5. Protomelus phenochilus was $100 each for a 4" male in my store. And a 1" colony of 5 was $1500 just for many new peacocks. The colors should ALWAYS BE OUT OF THIS WORLD FOR WILD CAUGHT SPECIMENS! However, if there wild but then quarinteened for too long they will lose there rich colors. Artesian well water will help to restore the colors or actually FO africans I bred by the thousands & released F1's into our Florida ponds with deep wells will bring back the color as well. Foods can only do so much & last so long. I hope u have done what is necessary to fix your electrical emergency needs. (Specifically for a frontosa tank!) U can get F1 or occasionally FO Zaire Blue fronts in South Florida. There are importers & a few individuals that have them 2-3x's per year. ( Buyer beware of copy cats Zaire blue want2be's)! Trust in getting what u want is often difficult with Zaire blues. Be blessed.
Hey great video keep it going. I have frontosa little bigger than 2inches and I have a less than a inch baby baby frontosa in a breeder net inside the tank, and I let them swim together and big frontosa layed on its side when they met I was scared as SHIT thinking it would end bad but he kept nipping and chasing the little guy around I don’t know what to do. Do you have any advice?

Awesome!
Currently i have good quality of wc mobas. Not for breeding. But i enjoy them a lot!
Do you deliver to the US specifically Lincoln Nebraska?
Ship to Los Angeles? Great Moba!
Unfortunately no, you’ll have to come down and see them in person 😇
I thought moba had more blue in them? Just subscribed. I love frontosa.
My dark blue backgrounds don't play in my favor for the frontosa. They are extremely blue but look a lot greyer with the dark blue
@@QuebecCichlides got it.. beautiful fish.
