For me in sonic voice acting in games Ryan's voice was a great establishment for the blue blur. As for Jason Griffin's voice, he was expansion and evolution in a fantastic way. Both are great.
First: I have been to Dollywood many times, living in Tennessee, it's probably the closest big theme park to me. Now that I know it's Big the Cat/Duke Nukem voicing the buzzard by the Mystery Mine ride (a ride that usually has a very long line), I will never be able to unhear Big and Duke from that buzzard. Second: Yes, playing Sonic can be therapeutic for me. I didn't have a bad home life, but just with the stresses of life in general, it's great to play games from my favorite franchise of all time.

Well, about Ryan Drummond, I never doubted or was disappointed - his voice is still clear, has the same tone as 25 years ago and you still believe that it is Sonic. But Jason Griffith's voice is slowly starting to weaken, because the tone is no longer the same as it was 20 years ago. But I think this is not a problem. He just needs to train his vocal cords a little and Jason will speak with the voice from Sonic X again.
The way how both Brian Drummond and Jason Griffith said, "I found you, faker!", and "You're the faker!" is my favorite part! That voice acting was pure gold right there.

If you listen carefully Ryan's voice, it's deeper than Roger. So Roger is more fitting for modern Sonic.
