I don’t know a whole lot about pulling but what I have deduced quite easy is that the money isn’t in pulling, it’s selling blower belts and front spindles 👍🏽
23:50 Question, are they using left and right rear brakes to steer assist or did the magic of his cranking of the steering wheel make that killer maneuver?
There are two rearends the front and the rear. It is just what pullers call them on four wheel drive trucks. I went along with it. Sometimes when I am drawing vehicles for shirts I will go LFR, LR, RR, RFR where the FR is just front rear. If it is a tractor I usually go LF LR, RR, RF working closest to to rear to far to front. All other non-door slammers have spindles to turn the wheels. I am sure that is clear as mud.
credits to the old man at 25:52 he had one breath left in him and he tried. bahaha love the explanations too,. window and door in the block can never be a good view.
280 feet on a pole barn/indoor track is pretty good. It is not outside. Fun fact: they actually wanted to extend the building, but the owners felt the need to build permanent concessions/entrance where there did so the building could not be extended.
All vehicles are supposed to have fire suppression on board. And yes there should be one every so often and on the person of the officials. But we have fire/EMS at every event to assist.
You'd think when building one of these monsters the designer would say, we're not using those wheels on that have you not seen how many times they fail, it's not a question of they might fail it's a question of when they fail. And a tip for the dude that snapped his leg falling off, a lap belt is really cheap.
I appreciate that there's not a lot of activity between the ears of the average yank, but who on earth did the rsk assessment on this particular section??? (1:22) "Idon't need no helmet ain't nowt to damage" and his mate who just drives sone heavy plant the wrong way 😂😂 Oh and that chap at (50:17) I'd imagine they had to retrieve his "delicates" from the back of his throat, ouch!!
So most classes require safety gear. The Wheel Standing Mega Trucks do not. It is what it is a disaster waiting to happen. But nothing has happened in 15 years of that class, so what is going to happen should have already. I know that is not the answer you would like, nor the one I want to give you. But it's the one we are offering. I will say something, but again it is an exhibition class. Hard to enforce any set of rules. The guy at the end in the mini, that was a wild ride for sure. That is the craziest bunch of people on the planet. 3000HP on a 1850LB frame is the craziest power to weight ratio in pulling. I have see it all with that class. Its crazy!
Depending on the rules of the class. Stock rears limit how much HP you can reasonably send to it. It is a natural HP cap. A lot of truck classes have 1 ton rears. A lot of tractor classes have Ag rears. Once you get into component rears, you gain tons of movable weight and can generally send more HP through the rear.

I appreciate the subtitles so that I can keep up with what’s happening

the sponsors pay for them so who cares
The man is being cleverly funny ozzy krahn
Life has never been the same since seeing Paw Paw take a spill back in '23.
He should be ok…. Maybe

sometimes i wonder what it's like being a sled operator. wild rides galore im sure!
Especially when the puller starts shaking from side to side and you're forced to go with it
I’m sorry but the guy falling off the tractor had me rolling…
Great video
WTH Bain Ridout in the big ol red Chevy lives in my small town in the middle of nowhere.. crazy to see him on here!!
"Pulled to good" lol
I Love it!
What is a blown front rear?

Footloose 12:10
Gibson logging.
I love White People sports. We are an amazing People.
Some real Mickey Mouse fire extinguishers in use here and amateur fire-fighting skills.
You can't beat a Chevrolet 😊 more bang for your buck
lol the guy saying "thats a ford for ya" after the ranger blew the endine.
Yeah we got some characters that attend for sure.
@@WWPTV I can only imagine. My guess there must be a lot of beer at those events lol. I would love to go to one someday.
I think i have a pic of Brandons truck (wild-n-blue) in the ocala pull. 13:29
Carolina charger driven by jimmy johnson was in Ocala at the winter pull. (5:03)
As in *the* Jimmy Johnson? I saw the name, for sure, but figured it is fairly common...but the name Carolina Charger seemed too big a coincidence.
@@extragoogleaccount6061 yep! But not the nascar guy the tractor guy 😁
@@catchulater7483 Lol…shows how much I know. Does he dominate like the other JJ?
@@extragoogleaccount6061 well its off an on. You know how it is. He did ok in Ocala.

Yes. I had no less than 12 or so pullers in a private chat helping me out. I listen to the fans.
man here in wisconsin, if it was raining, they stop pulling
I was at the Ocala winter nationals.
Short lil track.

@@WWPTV yep. It’s at the same place where the horse shows are held. Thanks for all the videos also. You do a very good job at it.
15:33 Ooooohhhh, those ugly clanking noises when the engine's blowing chunks!
Never a good thing.
Snap, crackle... OH, S**T.
pertty sad to see nobody has a fire extinguisher they just walk around looking at the truck while it burns to the ground.
All vehicles are supposed to have fire suppression on board. And yes there should be one every so often and on the person of the officials. But we have fire/EMS at every event to assist.
why do they try to turn when the front wheels *are in the air* lmfao
That way when they get close to the disqualification line when the front tires hit the ground the tractor will go the opposite direction
27:40 What happened to safety gear rules? No helmet, just a t-shirt? I know this is a red neck rodeo, but WOW!
Never seen a tractor pull run in the rain, no possible fare outcome there. Some of these sled operators need a new line of work as well
should have 1 every 50-75 feet on both sides of the track
I hate seein all that money goin up in smoke but I just cant turn away!
@FITNESSOVER45 i know what ya mean
The guy at the end walking in a hat in front of the camera I see very sober.
Wondering why people are saying that they can't make any money that the ECONOMY is bad!!??
Only lazy, weak, poor people say that
What are they thinking? Who woulda thunk you couldn't do a full pull with them little dinky riding lawn mowers. Jethro
A lot of money went Bye Bye .
Lots of Fords being broken Fords in here.

Without a roll bar you do not want to be strapped to it, just bad luck for the guy.

The guy at 9:37 should of just stayed home cause he was a waste of space and air
bruh there's no way these guys keep using 1/4 ton rear ends. clearly it does not work. compromise elsewhere

20:15 Can't take that Pain in the Ass anywhere!
O tiozinuo caindo do cart kka
these pulls save money by not providing a safety crew since there worthless
They should have never allowed that lawn tractor that had so much open area to even run. Oh well learn their lessons I think not.
Plus to long.
