It's because it's resource consuming. This one looks good cuz alot of it is on this snippets. Also, raining is just "realism" cheat, and make everything reflectives to make everything looking goodon camera.

It’s strange but this is so realistic in most ways it made we actually expect MORE than it was giving. Like that level of rain when it hits a car you see all the little rivulets of water going down the windows. Some stoping some going in random directions or forming pools drying out other areas because glass has low friction.
I don’t remember the last time I’ve been so tripped into a screen feeling so real that I start pointing out flaws in "reality" in what I know is an asset. Good work 👊🏻

Noice!! Some constructive feedback: There are (only!) two aspects of this that give it away as CG and not real footage. One, the raindrop splashes, which are too... solid? visible? Two, the brake lights, which aren't distorted by the red glass. Yes, their color is changed appropriately, but that glass also distorts and diffuses the light, so typically you cannot _clearly_ see the bulb like that. But aside from those two aspects, this is amazing!!

Very pretty, but I just watched a video tutorial by a game dev on using UE5, and they revealed that although there's plenty of good looking "demo" videos on YT, getting UE5 to run at a decent frame rate is actually very difficult and requires careful level design choices and settings. It doesn't just natively or automatically run smooth like you see here.

in case you are asking "why can't I have a game looking like this right now?!"
    - a 4090 can barely handle this, and this is even mostly a static scene, nothing much happening/moving
    - depth of field focus is baked in this demo, we don't have that working properly yet, so in reality everything will look 'flat' immediately
    - rain and wetness makes everything reflective = eye candy
    - UE5 hasn't been out that long, realistic games take time to develop

I'm not really sure what the actual reason is but my guess would be clips like this video are not rendered real time. Actual games uses a lot of tricks to fake 'realism' making it look less impressive to make a playable game that runs at a sufficient fps at least. But, If there are already existing hardware that's capable of rendering a game like this, there probably aren't enough people that have access to those so making games with graphics like these aren't worth it yet.

I don't know how you do it but i can tell you the theory of it. The camera "sampling" rate needs to be much higher for even better movement. There is a camera movement even in between a single frame, which causes motion blur that is not in a straight line, but in line of the movement of the camera. I know this is a showcase of Unreal engine so it might be cheating, but rendering this in 240 fps or something and then editing the video to 24, 30 or 60 fps but generating the blur based higher fps could work, or maybe you can do it in engine. Currently the image is too sharp and the shake is too fluidy. I'm just suggesting this because the scene is fucking beautiful and i think the camera movement is holding the scene back.

This is so realistic. I am myself dwelling into creating scenes in Unreal Engine with BMS Industrial Zone kit that i recently bought. Zhoslen I would really like to know the render queue settings that you might be using for this crispy Cinematic Render, is there any source that you could share which might have the console Variables and the settings to get the best renders for cinematic shots like these. Thanks alot.

The only thing I want from UE5 and FIXING THOSE DARN STUTTERS. I don't care if it's extremely beautiful but still has stutters on PC because of PSO or some shaders compilation.
That being said, it looks really good.

imagine a vr game in the future connected with neuralink with this setting and you can start a mission with your friends where you drive this car and doing some secret agent missions together like a game or like in inception, that would be totally cool, can't wait what the future will bring to our civilisation, today ur doing a discrod evening with your friends, in the future ur doing neuralink gaming sessions in this surreal realistic world in tokyo during rain
