@ramblerdave1339 While promoting his new album "Look Up" he praised young Indie bands for bringig astonishing freshness into the old fashioned genre of Country. He referred to Larkin Poe, Lucius, Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle. (Source: the culture page of my local newspaper. I don't know which primary source they did refer to) Obviously Ringo has a wider understanding of Country. But as we can see: the Roots- and Bluesrockers RebL and SQ are moving slightly towards the Country fringes.
The Beatles, tho being true veterans still have a keen view on the actual music scene. Rumours have it that Paul McCartney, attending a concert for music officials in London, praised another emerging young band for their success: The Warning from Mexico. Leader Dany had to ask for the name of this old guy who tapped her on the shoulder.
