I think Sam from Halloween kills would be awesome
where did michael go at the end of halloween 1978? he went back into the house, hid and then killed BOTH loomis and laurie! then the movie moves forward 1 year to 1979 for michael's return assault on haddonfield. michael and laurie are NOT siblings. this time it is random! call it halloween 1979.
despite the fact that i HATE the sibling aspect of halloween II (1981) ... what else they could do is HALLOWEEN 4.5 THE ANIMATED MOVIE bring back JAMIE LLOYD, REV. JACKSON SAYER, DR. LOOMIS, DEPUTY GARY HUNT from halloween II, RACHEL, CHARLIE BOYLES mentioned in the 1978 film! so what if the actors are now older or since passed away they can still voice their characters or other voice atcors can imitate the characters's voices.. skip all of the thorn crap from 5 AND 666. halloween 4.5 takes place in 1989. i never wanted jamie to become the next shape. i knew all along they were never going to take that route. what they should have done is ship jamie off to smith's grove and then have michael break into smith's grove (give haddonefield a break for one halloween) in an effort to either attempt to kill her or traumatize her to the point where she actually begins to think she could possibly be evil to get her to join up with him....which she ultimately refuses to do and in the end she turns on michael and possibly/apparently kills him and saves rachel in the process. i always thought it would be a good idea to have michael break back into the facility. this way you could have a change in the setting, but still be true to the original concept. then i saw a max von sydow movie called the night visitor from about 1971. in it he breaks out of the asylum periodically to murder those who had him institutionalized, only to break back into the asylum after each new murder he commits. then i was like 'well, maybe it isn't an original idea, but it would still be cool to see michael break back into smith's grove.' also, in my 'story' there was to have been a patient at smith's grove who was an edlerly man. this man some times seems to be helping jamie escape michael and other times he seems to he assisting michael in his quest to find her. this old guy would turn out to be charlie bowles who was mentioned in the graveyard scene in 1978's halloween as having hacked his family up after supper. it is revealed that deputy gary hunt (hunter von leer) in halloween II was judith myers's lover on halloween 1963. they both have blonde hair. the deputy says he can remember halloween 1963 in halloween II. another halloween series alumni i would like to have in what i call 'halloween 4. 5' is rev. jackson p. sayer from 4: the return. the preacher actually did catch up with the evil he had been pursuing for years that he makes reference to in his conversation with loomis in 4. when the rev. caught up with his evil, he shot it six times and actually killed it. the preacher called it 'evil', but the authorties just saw the corpse of a dead man that the preacher had shot six times. when rev. jackson tried to tell everyone the person he had killed was evil incarnate everyone thought the preacher was insane and he was sent to smith's grove where he once again converses with loomis. while in smith's grove he / the preacher encounters michael and the preacher is convinced that michael REALLY is evil incarnate ... even well beyond what he had previously been pursuing and had ecountered/shot six times and killed. once i found a way to get all of the characters at smith's grove it just fell into place. loomis was no problem. michael of course was on the trail of jamie. jamie would actually be in smith's grove. charlie boyles and rev. jackson p. sayer would all ready be there. that just left gary hunt and rachel. deputy gary hunt could either be transporting paperwork about michael and/or jamie to the facility and rachel could be going to visit jamie there independently of each other OR gary hunt could be transporting rachel there for a visit with jamie and serving as her body guard. hunt while there encounters michael. he tells michael none of this was supposed to have happened. deputy hunt tells michael he/deputy hunt truly loved micahel's sister judith and they had plans to marry as soon as both were out of school. he tells michael that he / michael ruined his/gary's life by murdering judith and that is what set him/gary on his path of being involved in law enforcement; trying to prevent anyone else from ever suffering the kind of loss that he/gary did on halloween night 1963. this encounter of course ends badly for gary hunt. charlie boyles from 1978 is a major part of halloween lore yet no one thinks to use him in a film.

what about skipping halloween II 1981 and have michael killing both laurie and loomis just moments after the finale of the 1978 film. it could transpire in a world where ben tramer lives! ...or keep h II 1981 in place and have deputy gary hunt be judith myers's lover on oct. 31st, 1963.
Omgggg! I hope they tap into the comics and not just limit Mike to the main story arc. I loved how the comics had other characters that had the unfortunate opportunity to cross Michael's path as well as some characters that were related to the main characters like Loomis' son. They can do so much!

This is so freaking great. MTV Scream was the first slasher franchise do make it to TV first. "You can't do a slasher film as a TV Series" - Noah Foster (my favorite Scream franchise character). So now we got Chucky, Jason and now Michael coming to TV? HELL YEAH. Imo, in the middle of watching MTV Scream again, most horror could do better as TV form because more time to explore the story and characters.

Holy s**t, yes! I spitballed a few options of my own but as soon as I saw this comment I lit up with absolute agreement. Killer casting. Unfortunately I doubt we'll get anyone that's that high caliber but we can dream!
They should show Michael’s early years in the sanitarium as a kid until he breaks out, there’s a comic/novel that shows his early days of being in there and they could pick and choose what they want from that or any other comic and incorporate them in the story. Flesh his character out more, show what he does when he’s in isolation, stalking and getting rid of anyone in his way.

Any burns on Blumhouse are completely warranted. Its kind of hilarious that people are now just starting to figure out that 99.9% of Blumhouse movies are hot garbage trash filtered through a hobo's sweaty ass crack......You can literally count the decent movies on one hand.....

They should pull inspiration from all the books, be it the novelization of 1978 with the Druid origins or the young adult novels from the 90's. Those works are rich with storytelling potential in television format.
The series needs to focus on characters like Loomis, Sheriff Bracket, and The Strode Family
They should capitalize on the hype of having Laurie in the show and then immediately off her. He returns the same night and finishes the job before the hospital.
You get 15-20 minute of good action and trailer-bait, but then hook the audience with the rest of the episode time jumping to the following year, focusing on Loomis who's been trying to track Michael down, against Bracket's wishes.
Bringing back characters from past entries that weren't focused on??? Could we see the origin of Joe Grizzly, b-tch?

Im down for a story following Loomis and you see very little of Micheal. Like JAWS. Keep him in the dark or better yet have in him shots but just not the focus of the shot. As much crap as Ends gets I think a great example of this from Ends is when we see Cory laid out after getting thrown off the bridge and clear as day Micheal can be seen walking up to him but so many people never noticed it. The people ive shown that to and told em ahead of time "he's a third of the shot and you'll miss him still" and they still dont see him is pretty awesome. Really sells that he's anywhere and nowhere, A force of evil that can't be seen even in daylight.
This sounds like it could be great. I'm so ready for this.
If they do a reboot as a tv series, and they do it like Robert Rodriguez did with the From Dusk Till Dawn series, it could work really good. The first season was, basically, a remake of the film, but expanded and more in depth. Absolutely Loved It.
The TV show should open up with the scene from the original Halloween of Jamie Lee Curtis pounding on the door to wake up Tommy… but Michael reaches her and kills her. Title card!
That shows us that you may recognize these characters, but this story is going to be different.

Supposedly I read somewhere that Miramax also wants to do like a cinematic universe with this franchise and I’m not sure how I feel about that if they go with route one which is just strictly Michael Myers. I think that would oversaturate the character but if they go with the anthology route I think that would be OK I guess

BTW speaking of Loomis, I learnt this information from a horror host on Shudder. Loomis was originally supposed to be more talkative and even had a phone call to his family, but the late Donald Pleasance convinced Carpenter to cut it out and have Loomis as this obsessed individual who is razor focused on Michael Myers. There’s some crumbs there that they can use to flesh out Loomis if they want.

If the tv show flops, the movies will be fine. Scream tv show didn't do well, but the IP is still going strong. The Halloween franchise, just like scream, has so many character arcs to keep the movies going.

My idea was that Loomis had a son or daughter and they become obsessed with Michael Myers.
Mike - This is my pitch for a Halloween series that’s IF it was continuing Allyson’s story after Halloween: Ends (2022).
Tales Of Haddonfield - A ten episode long limited series much the Netflix series “Dahmer Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”. It would be about Allyson the granddaughter of Laurie Strode from Halloween (2018), Halloween: Kills (2021), Halloween: Ends (2022). Tales Of Haddonfield - A ten episode long limited series much the Netflix series “Dahmer Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”. It would be about Allyson the granddaughter of Laurie Strode from Halloween (2018), Halloween: Kills (2021), Halloween: Ends (2022).
Mike Flanagan the director of “Hush”, “The Haunting Of Hill House”, “Midnight Mass”, “Doctor Sleep” and “The Fall Of The House Of Usher” would be the director. With a similar formula much like this show such as some episodes would be focused on the main character and some other episodes would be from supporting characters P.O.V. but being respectful to all of the characters. Tales Of Haddonfield would jump through time in terms of format.
The episodes would be 45 minutes long with only 10 episodes. It would be more character based and just the overall story. It would have some brutal and really creative kills here and there but not just for the sake of kills that don’t fit the story. * My first choice would be to have this series air on the Netflix. If not then it would be streaming on Prime Video.
