Sinister is by FAR #1 for me. That was honestly the only movie I’ve ever watched where I’m scared to watch again. It was super eerie and creepy. The gruesome murders on the VHS tapes is what gets me the most, especially one specific VHS scene, but I shouldn’t say it, it may spoil the scene lol. I would 100% recommend this movie for anyone who wants a good scare, make sure you watch it in complete darkness, of course!!
I definitely agree, but the thing that makes the movie scary for me is him. They way he’ll just be standing there. Like the scene where he was staring in the backyard.
I was scared to look away from the TV
Since he might move😂😂
Sinister is lame. I watched it several times and don't get the hype around it. There are better horror movies.
I thought I was the only one who was frightened by Sinister more than any other. That movie got to me. I don't know why.
@@arbysfisted952watched this when it first came out. Was pretty young at the time, and that backyard scene haunts me to this day. Anytime I’m outside at night time I see his face.
Smile is recommended. Its incredible how great the tention has been holt. Its like the smile can just happen in any minute making it ultimately scary the whole time
10. The Decent
9. Smile
8. Evil dead
7. Insidious
6. The Babadook
5. IT
4. Sinister
3. The Ring
2. The Conjouring
1. Hereditary
IT 2017 should not be above insidious
insidious scares me more then anything and its just jumpscres
IT 2017 is mainly jumpscraes but none of the jumpscares are actually scary
😂
Very good list!
Would put The Witch (2015) in first of all time, but will watch for sure those in this list that I haven't!
Watched The Ring when i was like 12. Gave me nightmares.
New sub here- Admittedly, I haven't watched all. I think "It follows" really taps into teenage isolation and paranoia. The street scenes in the car are utterly John Carpenteresque. I love the retro TVs, old cars and the girls little shell E reader. Hereditary deserves the position but I think The Babadook is another that touches on real human frailties and the dark recesses of our psyche😊
You need to work on your pronunciation of "Insidious" LMFAO
The void 2016, Dagon, session 9, The Endless 2017, Event Horizon, Lights Out 2016, Empty man(1st half) - just some good horror movies.
No one ever talks about the hills have eyes that movie traumatized me as a kid🤣
I don't care what anyone says The Strangers is hands down one of the scariest horror movies of all time, at least my top 2 putting hereditary at my number 1
Great video
The Grudge, The Hills Have Eyes, Wolf Creek, Mama, The Witch, The Visit, The Ritual, The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Dog Soldiers and Apostle can be another list. Equally scary or disturbing ...if not more.
I like your taste of scary movies nowadays scary movies just there for a story nothing scary
Japanese The grudge
The void 2016, Dagon, session 9, The Endless 2017, Event Horizon, Lights Out 2016, Empty man(1st half) - just some good movies.
the hills have eyes is so good
7:43 I remember watching this right after a hurricane when power came back.
have them all with the exception "It Follows and "Hereditary"
Asian horror movies need recognition too. They have less Jumpscare elements but sends chills down the spine crazy genuine horror
Have you watched the medium , incantation?
Wailing too 👌🏻
Agree with number 1. JUST REWATCHED it yesterday and it still scared the hell out of me!
Nah it's not scary at all
I love the IT movie. One of my favourite movies ever. I loved chapter 2 as well. Am I the only one that finds IT to be a horror version of The Goonies? Lol.
Since We Already Got A Winnie The Pooh R Rated Horror Movie Titled Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey And We Are Getting A Sequel To It Titled Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey 2 And We Are Getting A Bambi And Peter Pan R Rated Horror Movie Titled Bambi The Reckoning And Peter Pan Neverland Nightmare I Won't Be Suprised If We Get A Mickey Mouse R Rated Horror Movie Next
Why use capital letters? That shit triggers
I love sinister so much ❤
Don’t forget the REC and HELL HOUSE
The only one that scared me is the exorcist and the 2003 version of a Texas chainsaw massacre is much scarier than the original the original was just alot of screaming to me
Insidious takes us to the other realm. No 1 for me
Oh my god I watched them all 💔 its been two years I can't find nothing to watch I feel like i watched every good movie on earth
1) Wolf Creek
2) The Rental
3) Barbarian
4) The Descent
5) The Thing
6) 28 Days Later
7) Thanksgiving
same problem here
just try to watch turkish horror movies, you would love them.
The Conjuring is my favorite horror movie
🥰💙
Dabbe 4: all of this for me to solo
You have great taste!!
Thank you! You too!
Creepy films: Resolution, Malum, The Woman in Black and Clown
Don't agree with Hereditary and Babadook.....never understood why they r always on the list as I didn't find them scary at all. Conjuring is the best and Oculus is another good one
💙
Smile was so creepy I LOVE it !!!!!!!
Apparently you have never seen a movie outside Hollywood production... and it shows..
Why is everyone saying "Hereditary"? I was excited about a truly scary movie, watched it, not impressed at all. Maybe I didn't get it, idk.
same here
Exactly i don't understand why people are so obsessed with it, it's not that scary movie.
@@rosepainting8775 it's disturbing, but because it belongs to horror genre still but it's just not scary
Wrong Turn & Scream 🪓🔪
Found footage movies are better than traditional horror movie.
you did not just say Sillian Murphy hahahah
To not include Dead Silence is beyond me ...
Trash movie
Ikr that was amazing and I still wonder why it has poor reviews.
Story, bgm, everything was best.. Top 1 for me
I saw that in 2008 at 12/13 and was scared to be alone for like the next 2 weeks
I would have put evil dead way higher
wow, not one Eastern movie and even The Ring was the Hollywood version. Shallow list.
I watched the conjuring when I was 11
Hereditary was awesome.
But Martyr's was better!
For me The Blair Witch Project scariest and so well done like amateur holding camera. At least one of the scariest....Amityville also very good!
Sinister and The Ring. Yep. Yep.
Sinister should be #1
Its not insiduin its insidious bucko
I watched them all except get out cuz I dont like the main character and for the rest they all good and smile and it follow so similar like %90 same
Curse of la larona is good actually
What about silent hill?
Orphan?
Hereditary 😍❤️
IT 🤩❤️
💙
The babadook❤️
💙
Geralds game is the scariest movie i have ever watched
😂😂😂😂😂
@@azaanhayat2667 what's so funny ?
Sinister should be nr 1
No f way the moment I saw u recommended IT I understand that you're in wrong way. IT was a comedy movie for me
I thought Smile isn't scary but it was👻
💙
The conjuring💗
💙
Hereditary is a joke for me.
The Babadook is irritating AF Haha & Don’t Even Get Me Started With That Kid 🤣
Hereditary is trash for me not at all scary i would recommend Anabelle creation rather than that
Ring
Evil dead
Conjuring
💙
It follows nr 1 of all time? This list is really not accurate.
hereditary
Lol, lmao even
Hereditary is the best😍😍😍
But not horror
💙
A psychological drama accurately depicting real trauma and the occult. 👻
@@sagarpaul5198 It is horror,u just dont understand
Hereditary is the most underrated horror movie at all time
Ah ah
get out ❤🙌
ITS INSIDIOUS WHY DID U SAY INSIJUOUS🤣
IT♥️
💙
Watch The Descent All Of 2 Parts. Trust Me, You Will Never Be Disappointed
Nothing of this childish shit scares me even the slightest. Why? Just get into Warhammer 40.000 lore. (:
sinister its so bad
Great film
I agree
this list sucks
IN siju us? For real i can't take it......
The decent was excellent, the conjuring also very well made
The badabook, was interesting not too bad.
I have soft spot for evil dead, it pays homage to original black and white evil dead I love
Then he had to release comedy version in colour. Good to see it’s back as proper horror
IT, I wish they didn’t remake it, it wasn’t as scary as original which had character
Insidious was ok, but they spoilt it by never ending it and watering it down with sequels
The midget devil dancing with its old records had me roaring with laughter
I loved the original Asian The Ring, sadly they couldn’t quite make it scary for me
Hereditary, interesting I have to watch it
Smile was crap, not even when the demon showed up revealing its face, some reason it made me laugh, just stupid
It Follows, another crap movie, I have friends that said it scared them, so if you are easily scared, and you don’t mind teenage type bad acting movies, with promiscuous theme go for it
Now Get Out, I meant to watch that, I think it looked brilliant
If you like Decent lots of other horrors English style, like Dog Soldiers, 13 hrs, Howl etc
They were funny but scary
My old favourites like stir of echoes, sixth sense all supernatural, like conjuring, love it
Now I have never seen any movies like the classics, Pope Exorcist came close
The exorcist, The omen Gregory Peck, The Thing, To The Devil a Daughter, lots of old classics horrors too numerous to mention
The Serpent & The Rainbow, wasn’t old but I love the voodoo movies
Foreign faves (French)Let Right One In, Pan Labyrinth, oooh and Cassadaga (2011), wow you watch that Oct at night and you will not sleep a week 😂
The fact you pronounced ‘insidious’ wrong and didn’t list ‘ringu’ instead of ‘the ring’ makes me lose faith in your judgement.
Tock to me ❤️
fuck to me
Bro if "it" is scary you must be 3 years old the remake sucks so bad it's embarrassingly pathetic
Also babadock and Megan were fucking terrible :( can someone make a competent non cringe horror movie please
