I just want to add that yeah the champion is not “waterproof” but I’ve had one in my snorkeled Grizzly for 2 years and it’s been under water/mud more times than one can count and has not failed me yet.
Look at the magnet housing if it does not have screw holes for magnets they are all junk glued in magnets detach and then your left with a cable.
