I see alot of people saying the laundry scene is important in kpop. But there was a hidden secret in this particular music video.
Long before KDA was announced the character with the tails (Ahri) had an in game skins called "popstar ahri". The outfit used in that skin is what's in the laundry basket in her very first scene in the song. Its shows her moving on, shes washing her old outfit and transitioning to "KDA ahri" which is the new popstar form.
I love these easter eggs. They add so much to the actual video and I had no idea about half of them!
Some advice, don't pause when So-yeon is spitting. You're about to get us mad.

For your question about the laudry it's ref to a former skin of the fox girl, she use to have a skin in the game that was "pop star" and she was washing the old one (you could see it at the begining next to her)

Another good music video from League of Legends is Giants from True Damage. Akali, the rapper character from K/DA formed this group as a side proyect more oriented to hip-hop/r&b style. Don't miss on that.

Laundry area I think is an iconic thing in K-Pop music, most of the MVs from old k-pop music have laundry scenes (I think).

@@AgentReacts My understanding is especially around Seoul, Korean apartments are often too small to have their own laundry machines so a large amount of the population uses laundromats, its a common area to meet and socialize.
@@AgentReacts the video is also filled with easter eggs the video is a promotion for a skinline (different outfit for your ingame character) one of the easter eggs is for example Ahri (the fox lady) has had a Popstar skin years ago which is the outfit that you see at 1:43 also kind of explains the iconic scene as if to say 'im back' there are lots of other easter eggs but there'd be to many to type XD loved your reaction btw! great vid :D

@@AgentReacts Also, the fox lady in the laundry is known for having a lot of skins (different costumes you can buy in-game to play) and you can see some of these skins at her side.
@@AgentReacts Its just a trope like in American videos they all dance in the street outside the New York apartments next to the fire hydrants. An iconic video is done that way once then it becomes a thing.
A bit late on this comment but I can clarify the laundry scene a bit. Riot Games are the creators of League Of Legends. The entire K/DA project was created as a way to advertise the new skins (costumes)) for their characters. It was really meant to be a one-shot but it blew up. "K/DA" by the way, stands for "Kills, Deaths and Assists", which is how gamers are rated. If you look at the laundry scene they focus on the laundry basket, inside the basket is her old costume, they're showing that she changed into something new, but she's still got the old one ready. You can purchase multiple different skins in the game.

Did you see the pink clothes in the basket while Ari was sitting in the washing machine? That outfit was Ari's old skin, called'Ari the Star Guardian'. It seems to be a symbolic meaning that escapes from the image as the clothes are stored in the laundry. ps) I turned the translator because I was wrong in English. I reviewed it roughly, but I don't know if the delivery would have worked :)

I liked KDA's "More" better because they gave Evelynn and Kai'sa justice(more screen time) but NGL, when I hear there was a League of Legends girl group? I freaking watched this so many times(and that goes for True damage and all other KDA songs as well)

This is actually the first K/DA song, this is how Riot introduced the band. It was only one song .. and then 2 years later (or so) they released BADASS, MORE and the rest of the "Album". So POP/STARS was the beginning 🥰
