    No point getting mad at her. She is just playing the game. If you want to be mad for some reason, be mad at the people who decide to watch this type of content. People may claim she doesn’t deserve her fame, which may have an element of truth to it, but at the end of the day, she didn’t ask anyone to watch her content. People chose to watch her, like and follow despite how brain dead her content is.

It's pure jealousy, XQC basically said if its talentless or effortless then someone can eat her lunch and do the same or better but they don't because they can't. Should she cover her face to be on equal ground with everyone, to be correct in your eyes? Is this Harrison Bergeron? Or maybe you think society has a problem for valuing attractiveness or consuming low effort entertainment? Looks and charisma do get people places IRL or give them an edge up, that's the game.

      Many army's throughout history have committed atrocities, Japan is definitely no different but the Swastika has such a negative connotation because it was specifically used for racism which resulted in Jews being targeted, the red sun was a sign of imperialism let's not forget many many countries have a deeper history of imperialism and still use their symbols today such as the Union Jack, England slaughtered and took over half the world, way more than Imperial Japan ever did and still use the union jack to this day. The rising sun is still used in Japan to this day BTW and was everywhere the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Its only offensive because they invaded and took over Korea, no other reason - they didn't committ racial genocide like the Nazis did using the Swastika they just invaded other countries mainly Korea. The English invaded half the world and committed genocides (including in my country where 40% of the population were killed) with their flag that's still being used today incase you forgot the British invaded and took over Canada, India, Cyprus, Egypt, South Africa, Half of cental Africa, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Ireland, a bunch of other Middle Eastern countries, half of the small countries in Asia, every island nation you can think of all the way to New Zealand and even the United States at one point but we don't consider the union jack offensive so why is the rising sun offensive, there is no other meaning its literally just what the army did in WW2 by invading Korea. The rising sun is much more like Germany's Iron Cross they used during WW2 on the side of Japan which is still used to this day and nobody mentions is offensive despite being used by Nazis.

    Bruh, the swastika is only overexaggareated in the west. In the east the rising sun is a far worse symbol. Imperial Japan did things even the nazis would weirdchamp. The rising sun as a symbol in the east means worse things than the swastika in the west because at least the swastika is an ancient sun symbol you can find on rocks raved 3,000 years ago, but the imperial rising sun is only related to imperial japan, only giving it one meaning, unlike the swastika. Yes I know that goodie two shoe westerners fear the swastika more than anything, but it does have more meanings far more ancient than the germans use of it, so there is an argument to be had for it.
    Western companies overzealousness against the swastika is not evidence of it being a worse symbol, thats just evidence that someone in charge is extra sore about that symbol in particular, which makes sense, american history lessons purpose is basically just to make people avoid that symbol like a vampire avoiding the sun. It's just historical bias. The US has alot of jewish people in powerful positions so the anti-jewish symbol is obviously heavy handedly censored. The imperial japanese flag means just as many bad things, but it's only relevant in the far east so no one thinks about it. If the swastika is banned then the imperial rising sun certainly should be aswell.

    • @Veraxeon
      @Veraxeon 2 роки тому +2

      it's really weird people associate the imperial flag to the past though. It's still the flag of the Japanese navy, and I assume it also was before WW2, so it shouldn't be connected to WW2 (I'm assuming WW2 is the time period we're talking about, not an expert in Japanese history).
      The Iron Cross is the German navy's flag, and isn't associated with Nazi Germany, for good reason. the swastika is, because it was only used I that time period (the exact combination of colours, rotation etc. as a flag, the symbol in general is indeed really old, comes from India I think and actually symbolises positivity I believe).

    • @vergil8833
      @vergil8833 2 роки тому +5

      @@Veraxeon You said you weren't that big on history and that shows in how you relate the swastika to nazi germany alone, the idea that the swstika was only used by nazi germany is extremely wrong. The swastika is still in use many places, from hindu temples to the finnish army, and it is of course alot older than the nazis since it is a sun symbol found carved on rocks in Europe over 3000 years ago (it didn't come from India but it was brought there in the indo-european migration, originally it is a sun symbol). It is far from just a nazi symbol. It is alot older than the nazis, and it is alot older than the imperial japanese flag, and it has been used in way more contexts for all of human history.
      So the context of "not always being a bad thing" applies more to the swastika than the imperial flag. But the swastika and all it's veriations are still deemed bad when in reality only a specific combination of colors and positions actually refer to nazi germany. The four armed triskel and all other swastika variations are equally shunned despite having no relation, same with norse runes simply for having been used by the nazis in niche situations for fashion.
      The west is just extremely heavy handed with it's shunning of things that even remotely relate to nazis, while it does not care at all about the crimes in the far east and it's symbols. That is why the swastika and even just random runes are shunned more than the imperial rising sun.

With the Iron Cross it was modified during WW2 to include more Nazi symbology and after WW2 Germany went and removed that symbology but Japan has not done anything similar they still use the same version they used when they were massacring's and raping so that's what it stands for, for people in the east.

      I don't know how much Canada teaches about WWII, but in the U.S. history isn't taught extensively either. At least where I was, most of the stuff we learned were about the nazis and a smaller portion was Japan. The most I remember learning was about Pearl Harbor and the bombings.The most extensively we've learned was probably about the bombings and the affected citizens (anyone else had to read the book about the girl who was a victim of the nuclear blast and tried making a 1000 paper cranes?) rarely anything on war criminals. So things like the Rising Sun flag wasn't taught with either positive or negative connotations. It was like "yeah that was the Japanese flag at the time and they were axis powers so an outdated flag." Even with their war crimes (that we weren't really taught), so much focus went into how bad nazis are which isn't wrong but now we get people who weren't properly educated about the rest of the stuff that happened.

    Tell us how you really feel SunnyV. I like his videos sometimes, but it's just difficult to take seriously when his persona biases get in the way. I'm not the biggest Bella fan, but I feel like someone who was a lot less bias would've included more?. Did SunnyV forget or just wanted her to sound as untalented and undeserving as possible. She makes music on UA-cam (probably made way after this video) and served in the US navy since she was 17 for four years, but SunnyV isn't going to mention that is he? And Bella isn't the first he's done it to, if SunnyV doesn't like someone just assume the video won't cover everything about them. Another reason for her "decline" on TikTok is because she's also been working on other projects.
    If you're going to make video about content creators and their lives, it'd be interesting to see every aspect of their lives instead of focusing on the positive or negatives. Even true crime UA-camrs don't leave out this much when they're talking about a serial killer's life. Again, not a huge fan (although I think her songs kind of slap), but her haters just sound bitter, miserable, and overall worse than her. You sound sadder and more pathetic than any lowest-effort video there because of how mad you're about it. This is especially when she's doing newer things, but you're somehow focused on her old stuff. If the focus was about her lack of talent, the video could've been half as long.

I believe that bella poarch joined the navy because she had some sort of family issues or was kicked out and had no where else to go, I would've loved for that to have been included. Also sunnyv's video was made before she made 3 very successful songs and music videos I wonder how he would phrase her success now. Fame isn't something you get because you "deserve" it, she got famous and continued to gain from it as most people would. There are many people who are famous who probably shouldn't be idolized like the Kardashians or Bhad Bhabie but even they get positive attention.

    The whole tattoo controversy was so stupid and she should’ve never apologised for it.
    Firstly, her tattoo wasn’t the rising sun flag, secondly the flag had been in use by Japan since 1603 and adopted by their army in 1889, still to this day it’s the ensign of the Japanese navy. It was firstly mainstream rallied as “controversial” around 2012 over 66 years after its association with the occupation in SK and parts of china, by mainly Koreans and Chinese... as it was associated by Japanese wartime atrocities of occupation.
    South Korea was fine with Japan’s adaptation as the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force in 1952, and allowed entry to the ports of ships flying the flag from 1998 and 2008 in Korea. Not to defend the flag, but context on the story is always better to know when talking about it.
    It’s not comparable to the Swastika whatsoever. You have a better argument comparing it to the Chinese flag in context (which holds many catastrophic events and atrocities under its belt against its own citizens) as it was adopted by Mao, leader of the Chinese communist party, which caused over 100 million deaths and plenty of civilians executions. All done under that flag. Even then it shouldn’t be compared. But for whatever reason, some flags associated with atrocities are seen as bad, others are just ignored.
    But like I said, her tattoo was just Sunrays and a heart, the same Sunrays used on many flags and pictures through history. Nothing associative with the Rising sun flag.
    Tbh the only people I saw getting offended over the tattoo were Gen Z Americans.
    Edit; The Swastika was adopted by the Nazi party and it was never a recognised German flag, let alone imperial flag prior to Hitler’s rein. The rising sun, was a flag in use by the Republic of Japan for hundreds of years before prior to being adapted by the imperial army which was forefront in the atrocities against southern Korean, it was recognised by the empire of Japan, used as the official Ensign of the Navy, maritime self defence forces, which is still present in use with the JSDF and JGSDF.... So yes, it’s very much more comparable to the Chinese flag than the swastika. (But it’s pointless in comparing)... In no essence am I offering a defence, simply giving context on the issue.

    • @cooperjohnson5625
      @cooperjohnson5625 2 роки тому

      I completely agree, 99% of countries flags have history in wartime atrocities. When I first saw her tattoo I thought it looks like the Japanese sun rays but didn’t think anything of it because why would I, it looks similar but isn’t. 75% of Gen Z Americas are dumb as rocks, unfortunately you don’t hear anything about the 25% because they know when to keep their mouths shut and control their tongues. I don’t see anything wrong with Poarchs tattoo it actually looks pretty cool imo.

    • @xlqwqx
      @xlqwqx 2 роки тому

      As time has gone by the flag's reputation has changed which makes it mostly acceptable today, although to older people it still holds the same meaning especially to Chinese and Korean elders. I do agree though that the wrong people are mad about it and it kind of isn't really even the flag. Still I could see people getting angry over the tattoo loosely resembling the flag , but people these days can really get mad at anything like the actual use of a swastika or etc.

    • @var9828

      You can literally say the same about the swastika and the straight arm in the air greeting, the swastika was used by a variety of people who had nothing to do with the nazi’s yet its a nazi symbol, the straight arm in the air was used by romans as a greeting but later used by the nazi’s as the heil hitler greeting. Things get different meanings if people use it a specific way

    • @brendon1689
      @brendon1689 2 роки тому +1

      yeah no, while saying that it's really overblown is fine, saying that it's closer to the chinese flag than to the swastika is almost objectively wrong, and saying that it was first controversial in 2012 is completely and utterly incorrect and really shows how out of depth you are with the shallow googling, unless you were to say that spreading terror and death wherever the flag went doesn't count as "controversy."
      i don't care about the tattoo at all, but seeing people like you legitimately defend the actual flag is just ridiculous. the japanese navy has the right to use it, and people throughout all of asia and the rest of the world have the right to take offense to it, but no one needs you to defend it with a false pretence and a biased narrative.
      on another note, what wartime atrocities are supposedly under the current chinese flag? it hasn't been used for very long and let's just say that the amount of actual wars it has been used for can be counted with less than two hands. i'd like to ask what "wartime" atrocities you're talking about, since you seem to think that it's so "many."

    • @owlface1816
      @owlface1816 2 роки тому +1

      Again you're from the west where the swastika is a huge deal and the Japanese rising sun flag isn't, in Asia the swastika doesn't mean shit, people don't care about it, but the rising sun flag represents imperial japan and all the atrocities they did, japan still uses the flag but they also don't acknowledge their war crimes, other Asian countries still find it very offensive. You have a western centric view on something that doesn't even involve the west.

I remember it like it was yesterday how various news anchors would shit talk professional esports players because they were playing games and making bank while those reporters are clocking into studio with a schedule yet earn less. They're mad because they could've done it, but they didn't.

      Well most people can't become professional esport plauers... It's just like most people can't become pro football players no matter how much they train or practise

    I completely lost track of who this person was/is because I was distracted by the chaos in chat. There seemed to be a near-constant three way battle going on with Felix, the chat and the mods. Some of these comments were absolutely hilarious but then stuff started to get weird when XQC's mods began banning people for stuff like this: "The flag is a reminder of Japan's wartime atrocities and is comparable to the Nazi swastika." True...no foul language, no threats...that was just a historical fact and was relevant to the discussion.
    Hey mods, I'm sure I can speak for the youth of America when I say...we DO NOT need LESS history discussions.

    I don't get why people are mad about her becoming famous. If they were in her position they would do the exact same thing. It is what is is move on and dont watch her videos. Simple as that really.

      If you are famous for being attractive you are corrupt and evil you should wear a paper bag and give everyone else an equal playing field otherwise you are shameless and undeserving of all your accomplishments. Something like Harrison Bergeron. I mean seriously it's a 20 minute video saying people are jealous and instead of taking out on the system they direct their discontent towards a singular figure who is playing the game. It's all sour grapes.

      @@brendon1689 Lol, I was about to say. It's probably case in point that not everyone knows about Japanese war crimes, especially in comparison to nazis. Some schools probably do a good job covering that, but even when I was in high school, a lot of stuff was skimmed over. The most we probably knew was about Janjing, but I didn't learn about the Korean occupation until I went on a trip to Korea as a kid.
      "Fun fact", I'm 48% Korean with 2% Japanese and that could've happened around that time... I'd like to think it was anything but nonconsensual but :/.

      That's not xQc's point, you could change anyone good-looking with Bella and it would have had the same effect. It's all luck based, with some good look sprinkled it.
      There are millions of good-looking girls doing small numbers on Tik Tok, people are mad she got lucky.
      Of course being mad at somebody being lucky on Tik Tok is giga-retarded

      I dont even understand why shes so talked about, same with other tiktokers.
      It took xqc at least a few years to become actually popular. But these girls just became popular for doing expressions like theyre having a seizure in a 10 second video lol.
      And dont start with how "sHe sHoUlDnT gEt ThE hAtE", even if she wasnt famous and had only 10 views on her videos i would still hate on her, i mainly hate her because of her cringy content, not fanbase or the money she makes(even tho i dont understand why she even has a fanbase and has so much momey but yeah it is what it is)
