Wait, saturated fat makes lipedema worse? Did I hear that right?
I've seen many carnivores improve their lipedema by eating saturated fats.

I think she might refer to really bad processed foods that have saturated fats or the combination of saturated fats and carbs. Carnivore and Keto help a lot of Lipedema patients.

I am wondering why the body can’t use the fat stored in lipedema fat cells? Is it the thick collagen the mayofibroblasters make or what?

You asked about MRT? I had a MRT test which is a blood test for food allergies. It exposes the white blood cells to food and looks for a reaction. Helped me, I'm allergic to Cow milk protein and beef protein also beans severely and was given a epi-pin, Doctors thought my breathing problems was mental illness for 40 years. I have not been to the ER for breathing problems for 10 years now. I also had been diagnosed 70 times for ring worm, but no ring worm for 10 years since being off Cow & Beans.

I can't wrap my head around the fact that they still can't tell women whether they should fast or for how long. This is one of the most basic questions patients want answered.

So when a woman has leaky gut, they are at risk for developing lipedema? I have IBS and have suspected that I have had some leaky gut aswell, and I've recently noticed a cellulite-y beady texture of my calves when I squeeze them, but I dont have pain, bruising, hypermobile joints, or disproportionate legs. Is it still likely that I have lipedema?

Pizza 🍕 is a combination of ingredients… saturated fats example would be a single ingredient… is that like coconut oil? Olive oil? Lard? Tallow? Omega 3? Or sunflower oil? Canola oil? Corn oil? Soybean oil? What about white bread or plain single ingredient potato cooked in cottonseed oil?

Yes it’s important that people realize there is no PROPER study done on ill affects of meat ….kass is right , the combination of unhealthy carbs and seed oils ect can cause havoc on one’s body .
Dr.darren Schmidt does excellent video on meat.

@@alison4547-o8t Hi Alison, about 7 - 8 years ago I Iistened to a yt interview with Dr Robert Scaer a neurologist and trauma therapist who had made some observations while he was in charge of a pain center in Colorado. He mentioned how people who developed fibromyalgia always had a high ACE score. This would be in line with Gabor Mate and others observations I think. Dr Scaer has written a few books on early trauma and chronic illness.
I just had a quick look and I found an article "The association between adverse childhood experiences, self-silencing behaviours and symptoms in women with fibromyalgia." So it is being studied.
I'm sorry you have both conditions - same here. x

It is recommended to have liposuction before having varicose vein treatments as the veins can improve when the diseased and fibrotic tissue is removed. Dr David Amron has discussed this previously as well, and he works with Karen.

I appreciated the show thank you.
However I have some thoughts and perhaps some different view points on all the research I have done.
First of all on fasting….Dave Asprey who wrote an excellent book on fasting , gave some very good information for child baring women on fasting . That the body does react to longer fasting in a negative way . The body gets stressed because it wants to preserve the woman having enough to create and sustain pregnancy .
Dr. Elizabeth Bright gives an excellent history of the negative impacts on women’s health due to big Pharma . It gives ( the book : women need good fat) excellent studies on how birth control and hormone therapy has been detrimental to women’s health.
This is a fact based book with studies on true history to back up what she is saying .
She also does not encourage women who are very ill to fast, as it heightens the cortisol hormone high can impact getting better.
Although she does encourage eating in harmony with the bodies circadian rhythm .
It is really worth reading David’s fasting book and Dr.Bright gives a detailed women’s medical history that is shocking and should be taught to every girl and woman on earth.

She lost me with the nonsense about saturated fats. It is the seeds oils that are inflammatory AND carcinogenic!!! ....NOT the healthy animal fats and coconut oil which can be anti-inflammatory. Avoid ALL seed oils for good health. Also, animal fats is where you get the anti-inflammatory vitamins like vitamin A, D and E.
