This movie had such unique animation I am so proud of how Cartoon Saloon came from a tiny company to one of the best animation studios in the world
Recently watched the irish myth trilogy and I must say I am in love with the things this studio has made. It really reaches the audience that these movies were made with lots of love!
Cartoon saloon is one of the best animation studios,..so much Great works, song of the sea, the secrets of Kells, the wolfwakers and breadwinners,...now with My father's dragon😉...The animators should be proud for keeping traditional animation alive...👌
Cartoon Saloon is amaizing, and still can tell wonderful and powerful stories, and "My Father's Dragon" was so moving with a strong message, i really loved it so much.

Grateful to get this look inside what went into this beautiful little movie. Every frame shows the five years of effort it took to make it. I kept backing up to catch expressions or subtle shifts of color. I'm glad we live in an era that sees books and movies like this as art and not just kid's stuff.

Cartoon saloon is my favorite movie studio! And my favorite movie is from this studio it’s wolfwalkers
I love Cartoon Saloon. But I still think their height artistically was Song of the Sea. The textures gave so much depth to the flat animation that it was like a moving tapestry. Wolf and now Dragon seem so simple in comparison. Bread was certainly a new direction and looked great. But Song of the Sea still has not been surpassed, when it comes to the animation / art. I hope they go for that level of amazing animation again some time.
I have admired the work of these guys since I discovered their studio Cartoon Saloon in the early 2000s.

I love this studio so much it’s so underrated
My Father's Drsgon is beautiful and magic as The Secret of Kells, Song of Sea and Wolfwalkera.
Even in a time where CGI and stop motion are the norm, 2d animation has never gone away, nor will it ever any time soon.
Me encanto la película, contiene unas promesas y unas metas que enseña por conseguir unas necesidades que refleja la película , no es de mis pelicula favorita pero me gusta los diseños artisticos de varios tipos que el CGI actual , buen guion que aromatiza un romance con la película. Esta mas que claro que la película Wolfwalkers a la ciudad ..
Me gustaria ver una secuela de Wolfwalker aunque Toom Moore ya dijo que no habría, pero creo que tiene continuidad hay guión para hacerlo ...

Hi there! I am really ends-Iredell by 2d illustration and animation. I am living in `Dublin for 3 years and a gala, and I came here to pursue my art journey, but I never found it. How can I move to Kilkenny in the hope of joining your team. I am a 33 years old graphic artist, with bachelor degree in graphic art. I really want to do something beautiful with my life, cause here in Dublin, I am struggling keeping my art alive. I am just doing on my spare time, if I have any, as a side job. Sadly I am not working in my domain, but in hospitality as a receptionist. I have worked before coming to Ireland, as a graphic designer. Is any chance for me in giving a shot?

father's dragon had such good animation in the anime adaption. compared this here just looks very cheap and not expressionate enough
