What a build and the good thing about it was there was no Bonnet at the start how refreshing and as you don't need water for your tyres will you be giving Mrs Wayne her towels back LOL
Dammit. I told myself I wasn't going to do any more car builds for a while to help with my finances (I'm currently doing the Eleanor and the GT40) but I'm not sure I can miss this one. One of my all time favourite cars and that quality looks amazing. Looking forward to this one
This looks absolutely beautiful I’ve never worked on a build with a switch in door before so this is going to be a great build can’t wait to order it next week
Wayne, when you installed the window, down you find there was a gap between the glass and the chrome piece that runs along the door pillar next to the black louvering?
That rubbery coating is nice buy in my experience it degrades over time and becomes sticky and comes off. I think it's a silicone coating...it was used a lot in the 2000's before they stopped for the reasons I mentioned.
Are these models produced under some Licence from Lamborghini and suchlike. Some of my model trains and wagons have a lable on the box to say that the livery, trademakes etc are reproduced under licence with the company, (for example DRS)
You ever use anything like cling wrap to protect the metal finishes? Obviously you have the mat while you’re working on the door but a cling might help the paint for when you forget or opt not to use the mat. Just a thought. Also, will the driver dash gauges have a light or will that likely end up being a mod? Was trying to see if there was a hole for a light while you were working but couldn’t see.
My first pack arrives tomorrow. Does anyone know a reference for the shade of yellow used? RAL would be best because I can fairly easily get an aerosol made up. Having made the original e type FHC from d'agostini I am sure there will be bits that need painting (I can already see the Miura door hinges need it).
Great video Wayne and a superb subject to build. It is only a real pity that Agora seem unable to fulfil their existing subscriber obligations. I haven’t had a Leopard Tank delivery in over two months despite Agora deducting £99.99 from my account weeks ago. I would have subscribe to the Lamborghini but cannot trust Agora to deliver. Ironically Hachette, Eaglemoss and DeAgostini have been brilliant with parcels arriving monthly like clockwork and only taking payment on the point of dispatch. Perhaps Agora are overreaching themselves.
I have had delays on Bismarck, had 7 thru 10 all arrive together a few weeks ago and 11 and 12 arrived together yesterday. I am in the US and both kits have been erratic (Bismarck and Leopard) but they have caught up mostly. I am behind a pack on Leopard, but due to a missing part in Pack 7 I can't move forward anyway. Working w/ Agora on the part problem - not helped a bit by my email provider putting Agora customer support emails in the spam filter. 🤨
Correction. You THINK you've changed the lights behind you to match the yellow of the car. Your colourblindness has actually produced a light lime green, midway between the yellow of the car, and the green of your Slimer ghost that lives near the ECTO1 build. Either that, or your editing software has made a pigs ear of of it with colour correction settings, while maintaining the yellow of the car itself.
Hey Wayne, new subscriber, loving the channel/build series. Quick question, Btwn this Lamborghini or the KITT, which would you recommend? Never built one of these, but have a lot of scale model and scale RC building under my belt. These seem to be kind of like an RC kit, kind of like a plastic model kit, but neither. But awesome. Am I correct in thinking these are about 1500 US over the course of the 2yrs? Great channel mate! Now “Get Crackin!”
Errrm yes a "lovely" A2 size poster, the fold lines make it look rather special... lol I'm a bad one sometimes! Now back to the video! And I'll tune in on Saturday for the little house that Mrs World of Wayne is making!
Good News is we don’t need to waste a day on Eaglemoss Ecto1 as I haven’t seen a build ship for 7 months........AND no communications why.......guess that’s the kind of service you get when you spen +$1000 on a toy car 😕

@@cwmbc No this is adifferent model manufacturer/will be nothing like the Ferrari F40 Competizone
The prettiest car ever made. I hope the kit will do it justice in the end :)

Nooooo
LOL
I've been looking forward to this one.
This is another beautiful car and has a charm of it's own, great Build and great details.
Thanks for identifying the door, Wayne. Never would have known that;) Seriously, though, it looks awesome!
Lol
The door is awesome keep up the awesome work Wayne
Beautiful car and color
Yeah New Build great video as always Wayne. Ian Campbell he hasn't forgot about the mat 😂😂

Thanks For Your Sharing So Nice 👍
Fridays could be fire truck Fridays and Thursday could be called throttle Thursday for the Ducatti bike build. I am full of ideas @worldofwayne
I am in trouble now thanks WoW........just subscribed.
Arguably one of the most beautiful cars ever made (so far!) Shame about the colour, but looks a treat so far 👍
Love this build! They need to do a Classic Cars range of models, and/or Super Cars :)
What I great kit. Another one that I'd like to get my hands on.
great new built wayne thanks
Nice looking build, I found the bass music between section a bit too loud it was rattling my speakers
Beautiful car. I hope Agora has got a Ferrari 250 GTO in the pipeline soon.
Awesome car kit
Looks kije the air vent above the dials is upside down or not pushed in all the way. This is a beautiful car.
I used to know the name of that material but I've forgotten it now. It is an amazing surface texture.
How about 'Starter Pack Saturdays'? Just to tease members if a new model is coming up in the following week? :)
Mate, I have exactly the same shirt as you. Got from NASA in 2017 when I visited the place.
Wayne, when you installed the window, down you find there was a gap between the glass and the chrome piece that runs along the door pillar next to the black louvering?
I don’t think so but I will recheck when I’m back in the UK
@@WorldofWayneUK I figured it out. The gap closes when you add the inside door panel. Have a safe trip. If you're in Dallas I'll buy you a pint.
Thanks!

Funny you should say that. When I packed it away I wrapped it in cling film
Is it supplied with a bulldozer and sunglasses, like in The Italian Job? 😀
Liking the new build Wayne I am interested to know why you gave up the build of h.m.s victory.
Regards paul osman
They stopped sending it to me

The Official Lamborghni term for it is Giallo Fly if I remember correctly.
Can you recommend a forum for 1/8 scale model builders?
Partwork central on Facebook
that material is a thing layer of rubber, they use that type of coating on Motorola flip phones ( by the looks of it)
A Miura should only be yellow or acid lime green. Agora have probably made a wise choice doing it in yellow. That paint looks superb
Or orange as in the Italian Job
On the actual Miura the dashboard is wrapped in leather so it makes sense this has a rubberised coating to replicate it.

Yep the price is about right for all of these models. Personally I like KITT but only because I’m a child of the 80’s lol
@@WorldofWayneUK Same! Leaning towards KITT as well. Thanks!
Can't wait for this to be done...in 2030.
I know you are colour blind Wayne but those lights you changed to be YELLOW are distinctly GREEN!
Must be the colour balance of the camera?

I went through a stage back in the 90’s of moisture treating old movie posters and ironing them flat to get rid of the fold line
👍🏻
*chuckles* Mike Brewer of Wheeler Dealers on TV has said he dislikes yellow cars, so the opposite opinion. Takes all sorts :)
This is a pretty car, not as pretty as the E Type but close.
Agree 100%

Scream if you want, to go faster
I'll pass on this as i'm not keen on the eyelashes on the front headlights. Countach yes
Lamborghini still uses Pirelli tyres
These are such an expensive hobby :(
So much plastic packaging for so few parts. Shameful.
