Them copper nose are gorgeous. Welcome to slab city. Awesome to hear the excitement in your voice. Hope you and the family had a great thanksgiving 🦃 it’s 17 with a wind chill of 10 with 3-4” of snow on the ground currently. 🙈
Nice start to an awesome vacation. I’ve started my collection of catfish rods, reels, hooks and flys to get me going on some catfish. It’s going to be a slow process. I enjoyed your book too. Thanks for all the links to great fishing gear. I’m looking forward to the next Florida video to see if you got out of the park in time!😂
I love your Florida trips!! You seriously need another measuring board to measure the height of those bluegill. Some of those look as tall as they are long, even the big ones in TN. Great video as always. Have a blessed night Justin.
24 Minutes in OMG! You are so real and such a good person and fisherman, I am hooked!! Thanks, my brother from another mother again! Lil Jealous but thanks for everything Sir.
And there's absolutely no Tennessee gollywhopers in Florida!!! One reason I am hooked! Love Tennessee and really love the Nickajack videos! Because had many family reunions on Nickajack!
Trip recap: 246 casts, 15 fish caught, 3 fish lost, first fish 28th cast, no streaks. 5 Species caught, 1 Mayan Cichlid, 3 Peacock Bass, 2 Large Mouth Bass, 7 Copper Nose Bluegill, 2 Regular Bluegill. No lost jigs, 4 gulp minnows used, 48 UA-cam ads viewed.
Buddy, I wish one day I get to meet you out on the water. I know you’d be a load of fun to fish with! Some videos you’ve used Crappie for catfish bait, you mentioned it’ll hurt some crappie fisherman’s feelings. Buddy, I tell ya what. Anything above 10 inches is legal to keep Crappie in any form you wish. So as a dedicated Crappie fisherman myself, if that’s what brings massive catfish to smile for the camera, more power to you! Thanks for the years of showing awesome nonstop action bringing in the best fish you can catch out of any body of water you go fishing in! Keep them lines wet and tight bud! 🤙🏼
Justin, you might want to look into stand up! Love all the fishing but am never disappointed watching! You keep your people interested, can't wait to hear your next words!!
You get me laughing so hard I have to pause you sometimes. Like I've told you in the past. I watch you for your commentary. Watching you catch fish 🐟 Is lceing on the cake!!!😅
That first fish you landed looked a lot like an Oscar. I used to live just off of Amelia island in northeast Florida and did a lot of fishing the inner coastal waters as well as in the ocean. If you’re ever up that way look up Misti Lynn charters and say hello to captain Chris. He’s a very good in the know captain
A lot of people do overlook the panfish and non natives. I will often target them and take the Peacocks and Large Mouth as a by catch. The Oscars are a fun fight, even better than the Mayan Cichlids. Shiners are like candy for Peacocks. I prefer catching them on top water. Also keep in mind the native fish tend to be on the feed a lot better early morning and late evening. The Peacocks and the invasive fish tend to feed much better in the middle of the day. The one long skinny fish you saw jumping out of the water was most likely a needle fish being chased by something big. More a saltwater fish, however they do get caught and survive in the fresh water.
some of your comments "Trip my trigger"....I watch just to see what person makes you blow a gasket and what comes out of your mouth..I give it to ya, you don't hold back!!
When I was stationed in California north of Santa Barbara, those blue heron would stand for an hour over a ground squirrel hole. As soon as he popped his head out, the heron would pluck him out and swallow him whole.
@@KayakCatfish it was my daughter's favorite movie when she was a toddler. We watch it as a family all the time. I fall out my chair every time uncle Rico throws that steak 🥩🥩🥩
Awesome. I love these videos. Going to be down there in February. In the mean time we are planning a trip to Chattanooga around the holidays. Will be bringing the boat. Do you have any recomendations?
Them copper nose are just as tall as they are long Wow!Totally understand the excitement for those.Hell yea I’d be all giddy about them to especially cause we’re so used to regular Blue gill
We’re in West Palm Beach! We’re actually going to Tennessee in January to hopefully see snow! My kids and wife have only seen it once and my mother in law has never seen it!
I must be an old style fisherman, have made it to 54 minutes and still haven't yawned but I need to pause and do other things for a bit. Thought it was pretty exciting when you had to stop and clean the prop.
Great video. I enjoyed it. Now you have to also take the time of year into consideration for weeds. Takes a lot of planning for a trip to the sunshine state.
Another awesome video Justin. I hope you get your hammerhead and catching big bluegill anywhere is a good time. Just watching it snow here in Michigan. Got about 8" so far..
I had a 2011 model that I had until I hit a deer last year. It had 240,000 miles on it with no major issues. My new one is a 2020. No problems with it yet.
Just bought another one of your golly whoopers. Love seeing your videos I had a couple questions actually if you can find the time to answer them. What’s the biggest fish you have caught on the rod and would you know what the biggest fish caught on one would be.
Thanks for buying the rod! I caught a hammerhead shark on it last winter. That particular shark was in the 8-10 ft range. Too my knowledge that is the biggest fish caught on one of the rods so far.
Justin …… Dan from Connecticut .. This video was hilarious !! Started off a little rough with the wake boarders and jet skis. Tiger Woods Phil Michelson 😂😂. The pooping bird. The glass breaking at the same time the bird started laughing. I heard kids in the video earlier and was waiting for the comments. Justin, Again I’m a disabled 50 year old forgotten cop. I worked local and part time for the state environmental police. My lovely wife divorced me over a year right AFTER I received my settlement. So I like people like you do…. Only you will understand that. Only thing missing was a few female comments. FYI …. She did not get anything …. My police pension, my police 457 alternate retirement plan, or my IRA. And since she was / is a biological medical chemical engineer $$$, she had to pay me an up front alimony! I was a cop unfortunately where sandy hook happened and I think the judge had some compassion towards me. My point, I love your videos especially the ultra lites. Your personality and remarks crack me up!! It’s like watching a comedy drama.
At least they were wakeboarding while playing garbage. Up here in michicrap, people go by me trolling, while playing loud music, as if fish are dumb enough to bite.
Hey Justin Have you ever tried Bait Finesse fishing using an ultralight casting rod and reel? You may have more control casting under those docks and cover near shore. Just curious. I’m a big fan and love all the content on your channel. Good luck down in the Keys! Bryan Whitfield-Reno, NV
My wife's side of the family is in Florida. I went to try and get a job and stuff there. 3 weeks into being there i had to run back to Tennessee. 😂 The stupidity was amazing to even a life long tennessean
Wait ah minute Justin ….. your meanin to tell me that you really think someone that would turn you in an honestly try get you in trouble ? ( Anyone would of been pissed at any age right on top ah you like that btw ) then the dam Golf balls 🤣…. Man you can hear the difference in the kick of how strong those gills are in the kayak crazy ! I hope you get an absolute im talkin record size shark while your down there !
Northern Illinois, me and my late father in law always kept a musky rod with a musky lure ready for jet ski idiots! Just saying, and our river is like a creek compared to the Tennessee River.
I feel ya on the wake boat. I mean why get that close to a kayak when u have a wide open lake? Also, why do people have to have music at the highest volume out in nature??? Like come on. Go to a dang club.
Raw and uncut are my favorite videos. Don't always get to watch it straight through, but I always come back to finish them.
Can't wait to watch after the kids go to bed tonight!!!
Thanks! I appreciate you being a channel member.
I've been waiting for your Florida trip
Catch a 15 pound peacock!!! Holy cow it's great to see you. I've missed you, I love the raw and uncut!!!! Good luck, be safe 🙏

I would recommend fishing Nickajack in Chattanooga. Any ramp on the upper end of the reservoir

Yes 6 foot rod
Nice Justin I follow u I love fishing
At least they were wakeboarding while playing garbage. Up here in michicrap, people go by me trolling, while playing loud music, as if fish are dumb enough to bite.
What i wouldn't do for the ability to make a cartoon of Justin out there getting hit by golfballs. The one that knocks the camera off would be golden!
I can only draw stick figures lol
@@KayakCatfish I can if I have a ruler. The heads will be off though.

I have always preferred spinning gear for ultralight.
Tilapia are schooling fish. I used to catch the with a cast net by the dozens
I’m pretty sure I seen a Volunteer sticker on the on that wake board.
I live 30 minutes away from Orlando a little town called Lake Alfred welcome to Florida
Let's go
That DID look like a Baby Peacock!
Oh you couldn't live there now since you said you would cut your own grass😂😂😂😂😂

2 lb test in FLORIDA that's BALLS
I’m dumb but what series ultralight and what length do you use?
St. Croix Panfish series 6 foot. All my gear is linked in the video description

Probably the difference in the month you was there last is the reason for the weed growth
If you see any trees by the beach with little apples, stay far, far away.

Hahaha!! Yeah that guy was definitely top of the list.
