That is awesome! So relaxing to enjoy the good ol outdoors! Great to see you with your lil twin! She looks just like you. She will always cherish these times when she gets older!

It was pretty nice, even with some of the problems we had. The weather was perfect as well. I’m really hoping that!

Great video Duane with you and your daughter. Awesome. The scenery around was fantastic. I could sit and watch the streams and waters cascading down the mountains and rocks all day. Luv that sound. Thanks for sharing another wonderful adventure.

Thanks so much Chris! That was a fun trip. I looking forward to this coming summer where we get out again. I know these trips probably won’t last too much longer but glad we’re doing them and that I captured them!

Dude… the views are amazing. The trees.. the water.. So many things we take for granted and mis enjoying. The camera you are using make the video so extremely clear. It’s like if I was actually there.

Yeah that trip was pretty cool - we ended up saying there for a few days and it was really nice up there. The water falls and scenery was amazing! I think the main camera I was using that trip was the Sony ZV-E10 - plus a Sony A6600. They are pretty nice - and not too expensive - cameras.

Wow, such a ...truly Beautiful area to camp at ! : )
I wanted to Thank you *Duane* & your *Daughter* for sharing this camping trip with us, the viewer ... I always enjoy seeing others places & [as I've shared before] the hubby & I - not being from the USA, and never travelled to California, I never really ''pictured' that it also looked like this as well (ie) such tall trees, mountain-es looking, vast areas of un-populated places etc ~ Again, I appreciate your daughter being willing to share this experience with us & for all of your filming, editing etc !! All the Best to you both : ) Sincerely, Cindy
P.S. Sooo sorry to hear about your back ... mine use to go out all the time but thank-goodness not once in the past 5 years !

California is really an amazing place. We have oceans, deserts, mountains, crazy big trees, and everything in between. I think most people when they think of California think of the beach. We do have a lot of shore line and to be honest the changes in how it is from north to south is pretty amazing. On the back it seems like it clears up just long enough for me to forget about it and then it "reminds" me that its there! Thanks again for watching Cindy and your nice comments!

Sweet! I have always wanted to go up to Kennedy meadows. It looks beautiful. And Duane, your fire skills are top notch! Hope you are well my friend!

You should definitely head up there. I have to say the Stanislaus National Forest Kennedy Meadows is MUCH nicer than the Inyo National Forest. You should definitely check it out! On that "second attempt" I didn't put much effort into it and it went out so I had to "try again". Thanks so much for checking out the video Steven!

Nice to see you still getting that camping time with the kids. i might take mine out to Yosemite in a couple weeks, if mother allows it... i still got one of those tents per your recommendation, need to get some more miles on it lol

Outstanding Tyler! Make sure you get a restoration to get into Yosemite - without that you can't even drive into the park. If you do get out and setup up please send me a picture of your setup! I would love to see it - especially in use!

Wow Duane. That’s a beautiful spot! I always wanted to go camping! Have you ever been to Big Sir in central/northern Cali? I think it’s around or right above the Monterrey/Presidio base along the coast. (Somewhere at wound there). Beautiful up there to with the giant trees. Glad to see your doing well

It was pretty nice - so it was easy to just keep staying. The original plan was to base-camp there and find a "better" spot and move. But we just stayed right there. I used to live in that area and went to Sea Side High School for a couple of years. So I LOVE the Monterey Bay Area. Bir Sir is amazing. The year the P started we had reservations to camp there - but then the state closed down and they were canceled. I'm hoping that we can do that next year - which will be the last year of "summer vacation" before the youngest turns into an A-DULT!

@@dustyroaddestinations bittersweet when they turn into an “adult”. Your glad their grown but you end up missing them when they where younger sometimes

Yeah true, I'm glad that I've been able to spend some time doing adventures with the youngest. Didn't really get to do that much with the others - money and logistics was a huge problem back then.

Honestly I could’ve stayed and just stared at that for hours. It’s really beautiful up there. I think I’ve probably missed the chance to go back up there this year. I’m sure that pass will be close soon if not already.
