  • Welcome back to THE PICKLE JAR. In the pickle jar on this episode is Aaron sharing with us his remarkable and inspiring story of using the infusion pump to treat his Addison's disease/primary adrenal insufficiency. Aaron's journey with Addison's started over 12 years ago but he knew there was more to his treatment of his illness and better quality of life was possible. He felt his medical team was satisfied if he was alive, but Aaron knew he was alive but wasn't living.
He empowered his own well-being by having a supportive advocate, educating himself on his illness through social media and other means and simply believing he deserved to have a better quality of life. Moment by moment he stepped forward with his Addison's disease and now he is using an infusion pump to treat his Addison's Disease.
Only 3 months into his 'PUMP' journey Aaron has already felt LIFE RETURN and is passionate about sharing and educating our ADDISON'S family about the availability of this treatment. You will not only hear Aaron's story but also FEEL his JOY and EXCITEMENT of his future with life with Addison's disease and his pump.
A truly inspiring and empowering story!

I’m over the moon right now that this podcast exists, I can relate to Aaron’s story I’ve been in and out of hospital since age 16 I’m 46 no, I was accused of being a drug seeker and that my symptoms were in my head, it wasn’t until 2018 I had the worst crisis that landed me in hospital for 5months that they finally figured it out, however I feel my endo doesn’t listen and we can seem to get the right amount of hydrocortisone it’s been so frustrating, but seeing your story gives me hope❤and my daughter also has cerebral palsy

Hi Aaron! I love your "straight out of cortisol" t-shit and the swig of gatorade mi-podcast hahaha! My endo is 3 hours away and I'm thinking the infusion pump conversation might just need an in-person visit... Thank you for sharing your story!
