One of the best weapon systems in the Sim, period. The explosions dont seem to fit the damage done, but god damn does it look fantastic when you dust a convoy at low AL

The Russian aircraft, including the Mi-24, has a similar weapon system that dispenses sub-munitions in a line under the aircraft. I belive its called the KGMU or similar.

I have had good luck using ripple, quantity of six with various delays to cover convoy type units, or infantry units, using the computer. Much better coverage than I can get with the Rock-eye.... I do like using the the double 2A/B. Makes for lots of runs on the bad guys.

when ar you supposed to use /arm the spoilers ?
AFAIK, the spoilers only need to be armed for landing and they will actually only deploy when on the ground.
@@Sidekick65 ok manual is a bit short on some things 👍
@@Drutten35 page 6-3 (Left Console) of the oft-maligned-as-under-informative manual (v2.0.1) denotes that spoilers actuate when there is weight on wheels and engine RPM is under 70%.
@@octobre79 yes i read that but it dosent says if you use them only with heavy ordonance or on carriers
@@Drutten35 the landing page on 5-5 includes them and points to the carrier page on 4-3, which omits them from its list. seems clear cut to me.
