- In the final laps of the Xfinity Race at Martinsville, it seemed like RCR was going to come away with a victory after having both Shledon Creed and Austin Hill restarting on the front row with only 2 laps left. However, the two made contact and not only did neither of them win, but the both did not advance to the Championship round in Phoenix.

Last year doesn't matter cause Ty was already locked in. He didn't "need" to win. Creed did nothing wrong at all and is owed an apology starting with RC and Andy Petree.

First you have a team owner calling him stupid,then Petree walking over to him and yelling at him,disrespecting him in front of everyone and a team mate sarcastically clapping at him...man it's like the whole team bullying him, I would be so glad to leave that atmosphere,I hope he wins a couple races at JGR

RC is a chump. I’m a new fan of Sheldon Creed! If Sheldon was driving a black number 3 that aggression would be receiving high praise from RC and the entire nascar community. The team owner and his bot Andy are the idiots. If they play it right they have 2 cars in the final 4, worse yet they had 30 minutes of red flag to think about it. Sheldon did nothing wrong, keep it up!

I am now a Sheldon Creed fan. Pretty easy to see why Sheldon is leaving to go to JGR. Would Childress be where he is at without Dale Sr.? Remember what Dale Sr. did to Terry Labonte at Bristol? Dale Sr. would have punted his teammate Skinner into the front row if it meant him winning. Wonder if Childress and Petry would have made the same comments if he were alive and been the one to do that to Hill under the same circumstances?

I think Richard Childress was as un professional as it can get. He had 2 drivers both racing to get in the championship 4. I believe neither one of them should have rolled over for the other. They both have sponsors and both have teams that they need to do their absolute best for. Sometimes it works out...Sometimes it doesn't...but Sheldon Creed needed to go for it there. Everyone was being aggressive they both did what they needed to do. Richard would have never said anything like that if it was Dale Sr. And Sr. Wrecked anyone that got in his way. Sounds like a double standard to me. Just makes Richard a bully.
I remember several races where Dale Sr wore out Skinner's bumper to get by him. Never heard RC say anything ill of that.
Exactly...my point. Dale Sr. Wore out a lot of bumpers and bent or wrecked a lot of peoples stuff in the process...and Childress never said a word to him...or if he did it was in private not in the media...and obviously Sr. Didn't listen anyway.
Also, the 21 PUNTED the 20 just before the red flag, way worse than what the 2 did to the 21.

Creed drove as clean as could be. I saw nothing wrong that he did and all the negative comments were unwarranted. I did think he checked up watching the replay, but Hill had no plans to race clean after dooring him and bumping him. He was trying to take him out.

RCR lowkey becoming a meme of a race team. Sad considering they were once dominant and still really competitive. I like Hill. Busch and Burdett in Cup are great. But off the track the management of the team is bringing them down. Furthermore, Sheldon will win races at Gibbs and will hopefully get a cup seat one day somewhere. I believe in him. One of my guys

Really makes you wonder what the difference in equipment has been for them two. Cause Creed has as much or more talent than Hill in my opinion. N he is a lot more likeable and marketable.
Maybe something for Whelen or qhoever sponsoring that 2 car to think about. The money they have given RCR to get a championship caliber driver and don't treat him the same and show favoritism to Hill n the 21 car

He over drove 3 at the end because the 21 doored him hard down the back straight right before the corner. It caused him to have a shallow entry. That I think is why he had to park it mid corner.

Why didn't RCR give the order for Creed and Hill to line up at the restart so Creed could get in front of Hill at the restart, finish 1 and 2 and both make it into final 4?

Spot off on Richard's comments. Also spot off on the idea that he should have pulled the Ty Gibbs move from last year. Who wants that for their first win? A dishonorable intentional wrecking of your teammate! Without your grandpa being the team owner that kind of thing can ruin your career when it's just getting started. Creed did everything he should have and unfortunately for him it didn't work out, but I think everyone respects Creed today as opposed to if he flat out wrecked his teammate. Really, Austin dooring him on the backstretch into turn 3 is what initiated the wreck and made it so neither of them won. If Austin doesn't door slam him going into three they probably make the turn and rub fenders coming to the checkers, one of them wins.

As a fan, I am not amused or happy about it! I lost respect for all of them but Creed. Makes hill look childish, and Creed will get fans like Brandon Jones did for a bit.
