Cree Summer was also in Bambi II as Mena. She was meant to be a childhood friend of Bambi’s mother.
It was a short role, but she provided one of the most chilling nods to the first film.

Cree is a LEGEND! We've been hearing her voice our whole lives (well, us 90s babies have) and watched her on "A Different World". (Also, Numbuh 5's sister was named Cree, which I always thought was a cute nod to Cree Summer).
Fun Fact. Cree wanted to read for Meg on Family Guy. Seth McFarlane wasn't comfortable with an African-American voicing a White Girl. But he HAS NO PROBLEM with a White Guy voicing Cleveland!!!!!!

Dulcy in Sonic The Hedgehog, Nefer-Tina in Mummies Alive, Khannie in Tex Avery, Hyena in Gargoyles, Blackarachnia in Transformers, Kim in The Care Bears Movie, Vixen in Batman The Brave & The Bold, Peabo in Proud Family, Amunet in DuckTales 2017, She-Hulk in Incredible Hulk, Glory Grant in Spectacular Spider-Man, and Christy in Care Bears Movie 2 A New Generation.

Penny is played and voiced by 5 different actresses, Michelle Krachtenberg, for the origin movie Cree Summer from 1983 until 1986. Cree was used again all the way to 2000 while voicing Kida in 2001. Meanwhile, Caitlin Fuchs became the 4th actress for Penny in 2003 after premiering in Phantom of Megaplex, and then Cree Summer comes back to voice Penny once more.
Really enjoyed Penny and Brain as a little kid. Who would have Penny grew up to be a fine Disney Princess!
